OT: R.I.P. Larry Coryell (The Godfather of Jazz Rock)
Larry Coryell (73) passed away last Sunday. Great and legendary guitarplayer. Same category as John McLaughlin, Al di Meola, Allan Holdsworth and many other fusion guitar players. Coryell was very under rated in the jazz world, but he played an important role during the 1960s and 1970s. He even jammed with Jimi Hendrix in New York.
Sad day. May he rest in peace...
