Tis The title track itself.

Song#3.

Definitely solidifies all that the album is about and is the most all encompassing. Classic .. just classic stuff on that one ... dark, doomy, gritty, authentic ...just Wow - !

Still to me, the two second bests are, in alphabetical order, "Hoodoo Blues" and "Little Rain". However, the very best to me is the title song.

At least half of the album is very good.
Hoodoo blues, Blue & lonesome, Little rain, All of your love - all great.

Wouldn't know. Never bothered to buy it. The concept bored me to begin with. I'm sorry!

It's blues music played by rock and rollers. In 1963 the stones didn't have their rock and roll chops developed yet so their approach to the blues was more naive and closer to the original (Little red rooster). But that Blue and lonesome record has heart anyway and that is a great achievement after all those successfull years.

It is a special .. just wonderful record.

B&L just doesn’t hold up for me. I rarely play it. Can’t stand the production, the loudness, or Mick’s voice on it and I’m always amazed by those who rave about it.

My top 10 of all times! I re-discovered this album few months ago. It's absolutely awesome! Favourite song? All of them! But especially Just Your Fool.

I don't have problems with the loudness nor Mick's voice. I just think it's too nice and polished and polite and pointless. Little Rain and Hoo Doo Blues are good, nothing in the album is bad but it's just without any sting. I much prefer the Rolling Stones No. 1, their first album, even though it has at least 2 simple jams on it, and a clumsy first attempt at a Jagger/Richards song. But it's loose, it's irreverent, and full of youthful energy and it's fun.
Whenever I am tempted to put on B&L, I think: why would I? and instead put on Muddy Waters or Little Walter.

I have it in my collection, but I never have opened it or played the LP. I bought it only for the Carnaby Store Exclusive RS no9 red vinyl limited Edition.
