Mick Jagger at his sly, tongue-in-cheek best...and the rest of the band ain't bad either. This one never fails to put a smile on my face. It's a good thing, for sure.

Mick is very good at this kind of thing, and the band is great.
Charlie is *so good* on this whole album that I am regularly rendered speechless.

I like Clapton's slide. Jagger is selling his voice, there is a market for it.
Ron Wood's solo hurts my ears. Charlie does his Job, just like Keith and Jones.
The keyboards give it a 'saloon feel', a bit kitschy though.

Great musically, and additionally great with classic Blues tongue-in-cheek-humor lyrics!

I re-listened to Mick's version recently as I hadn't heard it in a while, and the Stones do this far superior to that one, no question!

me too. It's the one I go to first everytime i play it. If I had to choose one, it would be hard, they did a good job on several, a few that I really like, but this one probably most of all.

Before the song list came out, I was thinking they'd likely re-record some of the ones from the past. As I love the album as is, that is not an issue for me, but it wouldn't hurt if they did 2 (little red rooster would be perfect!) as bonus tracks, b-sides, or whatever. I'd take I'm A King Bee too!

I'd rather hear songs they haven't recorded before--don't see the point of rerecording stuff that was done perfectly the first time!

I love Everybody Knows About My Good Thing, it has a jazzy influence that makes it stand out from the other songs on the album.

Revisited this song, and learned another blues lesson/admiration at how
outstanding this album.

It's not funny, the blues. And when I listened today,
I was relieved to hear the
Angst.
Anger, serious angst, tough.
The band put that through on this album.

jagger with gary moore was great!

Loved it the minute I heard, One of My Favs on the record...

It's not my favorite track but I like it, great rhythm, the beautiful slides guitar Clapton and fantastic solo guitar Wood, great interpretation of Jagger.

I listened to the album last night. Love this track. Now that Charlie can't hit the drums with 'dynamite', you can hear the subtlety in how he plays. I think Chuck actually does a pretty good Ian Stewart tribute.
