Agree, and they are GREAT live too! As long as the boys and bands like DP are around the future's almost as exciting as ever!

Now I`ve seen and heard it. -Hmm. Nice details, but I don`t like songs like this. It reminds me of Yes and Genesis. -And the 2001 Space Odyssey references, oh man, how dare they! -Far too obvious to my taste. As if we hadn`t understood it by then, they even put the 2001 embryo at the end of it, just like in the Kubrick 1968 movie!

Is it a production heavy album? -Hmm, us iorrians don`t like that too well. Not much drum sound, not much live feel? -Hmm, we want something "Beggars-like", by comparision.

Personally I feel they should reconsider Ritchie Blackmore for their last concert whenever, where ever its is. He is the real Deep Purple

If they do a farewell show, definitely Blackmore should be in it. Should also get Rod Evans and Nicky Simper and play Hush/Kentucky Woman as well as Coverdale and Hughes to sing Burn and Stormbringer!

Blackmore is far better than Morse

I got hit with an email today from AEG regarding Deep Purple tickets for October 2021. It says

"Hard-rock alert! Don't miss Jon Lord, Ritchie Blackmore and the band live on tour."

What planet are these people on!

What do you make of it? The critics give 8 or 9 out of 10 points all over the place. I`m not impressed. Am I expecting too much? It`s too easy only to kick ass. Only "Throw My Bones" makes me happy.
