That's not what I meant.

My comprehension challenges probably wouldn't happen so regularly if I didn't post while working. All you said makes sense and should have been evident. Thanks for being patient.

I think we should be proud of ourselves. 410 pages of absolutely zero information and still going strong!

Hey it started as "New Stones album for 2017?" We've come a long way on this road together.

Page 411...remember the old days when you could dial 411 to get information for free?
Wish we could dial 411 for some info on the new Stones album.

Just google searched 411, and evidently something similar still exists:

Can you still call 411 for information?
Just dial 1-800-FREE-411 (or 1-800-373-3411) from your phone. Since the service is sponsored by advertisers, you'll have to listen to a 10-second ad before you can speak, but the service is free, easy to remember, and easy to use

Maybe if I call, Keith or Mick will answer and give some updates ...but only after listening to a pre-recorded advertisment for HONK.

Seems to me the new tour - unannounced or not- has more concrete info. than the supposed new Stones album.
BV has mentioned it more than once, and there's now info. that a stadium has supposedly been booked.
As for a new album? Nada.

The HONK NO FILTER tour will get a second year... they can heavily promote HONK again like they did this year.

Oh wait.

The Stones didn't actually promote HONK, did they.

Well, whatever. Nostalgia act, pretty new hits comp, no new album, another tour - what's to not like?

I am a little curious if HONK boosted JUMP BACK sales at all. You know, because of the inverted rip off artwork and just a slightly updated track list.

Lets hope they have been recording the new Bond theme song for Die another day, the movie is out in April and would fit with the us tour and new album...maybe we are just getting one song and an album in dec 2020

would Jagger have the balls to do bond as a solo tune!.....(because Keef didn't like it)

Die Another Day was actually the title of the last Pierce Brosnan Bond movie in 2002.
The new one is titled No Time To Die, is released next year's april and will be the last one with Daniel Craig.

I am a huge James Bond fan and my wish for years is that The Rolling Stones are doing the title song, but Jagger solo will do for me toothumbs up,
but it probably will never happen.

Jagger should take responsibility for the endless procrastination by parting ways with the Stones. Seriously, at this point he’s become a liability. Anyways, we don’t want a new Stones album with six songs that smell like ‘England Lost.’ Keith and Ronnie can do all the writing and they can hire John Travolta or Leo Sayer (who’s a dead ringer for Mick btw so most would never know the difference when they tour) to do the singing.

You may think that sounds ridiculous but if Mick could be convinced that an endless Mick Jagger solo tour could be just as profitable and less hassle he'd announce his departure in a New York minute.

Maybe you are a most unusual person, that are able to speak for everybody, except me. But at least, your use of "we" does not include me.

We did talk Keith's (potential) denture a while back! Nothing left uncovered in this thread!grinning smiley Not sure about the wigs, though. Keith evidently doesn't wear one.

"Dentures and Wigs" would be a good title for an album.

I only just recently heard correctly what Mick says in that 1989 20/20 interview, when Stone Phillips was talking about T-shirt merchandising. Mick says the Stones’ line of merch won’t be in completion with the great couture houses — yet! And then he mutters, “Watch out, YVES.”

Sounded to me, for 30 years, like “Eef,” and it just dawned on me one day.drinking smiley

The old recycled news is picking up steam. A DJ on L.A. radio station KLOS excitedly exclaimed "new Stones album in 2020" and I almost got excited myself!,
But she then went on with the old quotes from Ronnie "it's a puzzle", "hope", etc., etc....confused smiley...lol...

Cut and paste worked well enough with "Casino Boogie," but imagine that method if one song ended up with a verse like

George grasped the nettle
It's do or dare
Like Crockett at the Alamo
Sharks will cry

I feel tempted to say that we've seen even worse but I'm too lazy to go for examples ...at any rate it would give us material for another 100 pages of discussion grinning smiley

Maybe they could meanwhile publish just the current last lines of the lyrics of the prospective songs (other than "oh yeah")? winking smiley

Rolling Stones will release new album and tour in 2020

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood told Simon Boyle’s “Bizarre” column of the British newspaper The Sun that the band has been working on unpublished material for some time and a new album will be released. In addition, the band will go on a world tour just four months after finishing the “No Filter” tour.

“The new album is like a puzzle, we still have to piece together the missing pieces. We look forward to launching it in 2020 and then continuing our world tour,” he said.

Ronnie Wood said the band was preparing to release their new studio album early last year, but plans were canceled due to the health of vocalist Mick Jagger, 76, who had heart surgery in April.

At the time, the band also canceled a tour of the United States and Canada.

The Rolling Stones played over 40 shows. Starting in September 2017 and ending the American stage of the tour in August of this year.

The long-awaited album would be the twenty-fourth British and twenty-sixth American in the career of the legendary rock and roll band and the first ever since A Bigger Bang, released in 2005.

The band have released 30 studio albums, 23 live albums and numerous compilations. Their estimated record sales are above 250 million and ranked 10th on the Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists chart
