It would be great if they released something tomorrow. A single tomorrow, a second single in February, a third in March with the entire album. I know I’m dreaming but if I were a true marketing guru. The first single would be played in full right after tomorrow’s announcement and be immediately available to radio, iTunes etc. It makes too much sense. LOL. I bet we don’t even hear about the album tomorrow or if we do it will be minimal. Still think NO FILTER would be a great album title. It’s the 21st century and the chance of airplay is pretty nil unless it’s tied into some stupid tv advertisement like NO FILTER for vape cigarettes.

It is considered "very likely" that Steve Jordan, Matt Clifford, and Carl Falk will have production credits alongside Don Was and The Glimmer Twins. The fact that the photo is a year old doesn't really matter. Bernard promoting "studio time" and someone mentioning Darryl can't be there tomorrow indicates they're in the home stretch as expected. Bernard could be laying down backing vocals or he could be arranging backing vocals. He does both though he does not receive much credit for the latter.

And yes, I know many can't believe the album will be released next Spring. They will remain Doubting Thomases until they can trace their fingers through the labyrinth of wrinkles on Mick and Keith's faces.

Well, if there are so many extra people involved with production, i fear that wont result in a Great album. Pray to God, i am wrong.

My Prediction:


They talk briefly about the album and it's progress. Mick claimes the album is
for the better part finished.. but just needs 'finalized'over the next couple months.


The tour is to start in late April and the official plan is to have the album released in the spring as well by tours start. Mick makes it official is saying the album will be released inthe spring. They both claim the material is plenty good when asked about it's content but want to leave it up to the public to decide how good. Mick claimes he does not want to disclose much because it is not 100% complete. Keith claimes the album just might have a suprise or two (wink wink). They claim they have worked on it quite a bit since it began.


80-85% of the interview will be based on or around the tour and touring. Only 15-20% will be concerning the album. The album is still untitled.

According previous news or gossip, the Stones would go in a Paris Studio in late November with Don Was...So, in one or two weeks...Are plans changed?!

My guess: The album won't be mentioned, as this is a leg of the NF-tour.

I doubt that they'll hang on to an album title for years before the album is released.

I could be wrong, though

The main thing is will the album be sorted before Brexit or are we looking at a transition period whereby the recording is complete but Mick and Keith (The Cabinet) cannot agree on track listing and choice of single and Universal (The EU) don't like the record sleeve.

As long as they don't say it's the best album since Exile it stands a chance of actually being really good LOL!

I have high hopes for hearing some album details as well during this announcement. Let's be honest, we haven't had a big official tour announcement like this for a while. From Zip Code all through No Filter Europe pt. 1 & 2 it has always been just a social media blast. This announcement could be them saying "yes we're touring but also with a new album that just needs polishing at the moment." We will all see but fingers crossed!

Ok here we go, we have the title track of the new album, "Just Found Out Today", back to the roots ! Keith's got some nerve trashing Mick for being prolific ;-)
