The microphone is a Shure SM7 .. that much I know and the amp next to and behind him are Fender 'Tweed' series amps .. from the late forties and 1950's. Looking close to the amp to the right of him seems to be miced with an SM57 ($80 - $100 microphone) << Not to worry .. it's used in EVERY studio .. Tis 'theee' all-around benchmark dynamic microphone. I'm not sure exactly which models of the Tweed series amps are being used as there were several year variations/models of these during that time frame ...However, they both are Fender Tweeds. As was noted... The guitar looks to be a Gibson (<I'm not sure on that one though).

Gee That I honestly jus don't know. I'm not so great on identifying specific amps TBH .. Def from the Tweed series... I'd guess it to be one of the late forties / early fifties models by the looks of it but I honestly could not tell you.

In any case the beginning of the US tour Is the idéal moment to issue THE New album...!there won't be an other in the future.....

That picture is the best news about a new Stones album since, well, the December 2015 sessions. It had really been downhill from there with the "hit the wall", Keith's "productivity doesn't mean sh*t to me" and "I need to sit down with Mick and write songs" (implying there would no new album without that). There'd been some random hints about Mick and Keith being in the studio from time to time but that's the first proof really. Not sure why Steve Jordan was there (has he even been credited as a musician on a Stones session since Dirty Work ?) but that's a detail.

The other info/pics about random overdubs clearly wasn't going to make a new album possible and if something had still been slapped together somehow, what would the odds have been for it to be any better/memorable than ABB ?

Well, I didn't read it as a 'slap' against anyone - just a well-formulated observation; funny, and quite true.

But maybe I'm having a bad day...

I was trying to be funny, but then thought I sounded like a jerk when I saw it quoted. The truth is, whenever one of us gets frustrated that we have over 200 pages commenting on less than a paragraph of genuine news from their studio time during the past three years or when we get upset that others continue to cover the same ground post after post day in and day out, we should probably ask ourselves why we're wasting our time and just do something better than be bugged with fellow fans who are passionate about what they want or don't want from the band. People are free to express themselves. If Bjornulf didn't want them here, he'd remove them. He's certainly not afraid to do that when people get on his nerves.

I covered that last year, I had a Firm Time Frame, and I not only have contacts, I have had, for a short while, a very ultimately meaningless,
