Hitmakers? Not since SMU and they were still pretty young then ;-) Actually they were about half the age they are today, wow, how time flies!

Mixed Emotions was top 5...or at least top 10.

While they played Mixed Emotions at one of the Desert Trip shows, surprised they didn't play it at any of the No Filter shows considering it was their last top 10 hit.
But truth be told, was never a favorite of mine, and the live version at Desert Trip didn't improve on it in any way. Maybe Mick sensed the blank expressions, and decided to spare the folks in Europe.

Keith is in the >"studio"< playing that guitar .. not at home ...or over a friends... Germano Studios in NYC is where the image was taken. Keith goes there to 'record' ..be it on a Stones album ..for a Stones album or for it to be on some solo product or once in a while on someone else's project. Point is it is a recording studio (a well known one) .. and he chooses that particular studio to work on things and record .. Not as just a hang out place (keep in mind .. recording studios ..especially high end ones .. are businesses). He doesn't go their to watch TV or just hang out .. and toy around with instruments .. he is there for a reason (with all due respect).

Oh, OK. Keith is in a studio. I am not as up as you are on what Keith does when he hangs out in a studio, so I will take your word that the pic means that he is working on a new Rolling Stones album. Maybe you're right. Maybe he wants people to think he is recording so he posts a pic in a studio. You really think that because Keith is in a recording studio in NYC with an acoustic guitar that means he is working on a new Stones album and he's not there for one of the many other reasons he could be in a studio? Maybe.

*I said he is either working on a new Stones album (The Stones have recorded there before) or he is working on another project .. be it his or be it someone else's project but one thing is sure ... he's not there just hanging out on a couch playing the guitar .. He is there for "work" (<some sort).. Now I'm not 100% sure it's Stones related (none of us are).. that is only a guess. However he is there working or creating or doing a session for someone ...one way or another .. not lounging and just hanging out as a social thing (hes there for a purpose). The Stones ..any member of them ... don't go to high end studios just to lounge around ... Not 'these days'.
