That thread was the main reason I check this site. Though usually the posts are long debates about Goats Head Soup v. IORR or some such.

You can still check in on it. It's still here, but it's not a sticky thread anymore.

Ok so it will be put Xmas 2018? Why not at least release a tune or two for the tour for streaming and iTunes and play the damn songs live at every show in the spots where the blue and lonesome tracks were

There are already a handful of "Hew album 2016", "New Album 2017" and so on threads. By making the thread sticky it sames me time so that I don't have to merge every "new" thread about the new album. So it will be sticky for a while.

Rest assured if there is something SOLID to report on the new album, which is still in the works, it will appear in the IORR NEWS section shortly.

True enough...but something new would be better than nothing at all? With all the talk of a new album from the band the last couple of years (since Dec. 2015 I believe), as well as multiple threads (including this one at 117 pages), I've sort of become brainwashed that there will be one! One minute I'm convinced it will happen, and the next minute all hopes are dashed...depending on whose post I'm reading.
Whether it's 2017, 2018, 2019, or 2099....I have a feeling it might eventually be released. Bt if not, oh well...it's been fun talking about it.

I thought you were being sarcastic / bein silly when you just recently asked 'any new about the album' Lol (because there is simply nothing.. and more of nothing substantial over and over. Substantial meaning 'solid / firm/ with firm time frame ... dates .. or mention of the material)
. Now I get your question was authentic ..


Probably next month we will get a solid update on it. My hopes / guess/ the info I saw says they will record / work on it this month.

On the bright side, no news is good news?

The album is coming very soon.... before the UK concerts.

It will be rock solid.

New album in may...says my chrystal ball...

It may be a little old hat to do this now but I'd bust a gut if they just dropped it out of thin air. Say for example, 'Today's Wednesday, album released Friday. Enjoy'. It's not the marketing marvel that it once was and I'm sure Mick would prefer much more promotion around it but I love to live in hope!
