Song is better than the video...maybe my disdain for the actress. Like how after the song ends it flips to Hate To See You Go. I think I prefer that one too.

The zebra was an obvious nod to "Visions of Johanna." Ask anybody.

Is the cop one of the Baldwin brothers?

I didn't realize that the dude was a cop. I thought that the dude was just driving a cop car.

You were right the first time- it's just a guy that has stolen a cop car. He's asking where she managed to find gasoline (and she's prepared to kill him with a tire iron) because the video is taking place in a post-apocalyptic setting.

My first thought when the zebra appeared was that someone involved with the production had played the post-apocalyptic (and very popular) video game, The Last Of Us. One of its most famous moments involves a character encountering a giraffe and experiencing a moment of zen amid the chaos.

I did not get that the Zebra was post nuclear world (can't spell 'A' word)
I thought she had a flashback.
So the Zebra escaped the zoo?
Okkkkay.

Or was released by someone. The empty streets, burning car, and scarcity of gasoline are all meant to convey the setting.

Much like the references to zombies in Doom And Gloom, we can probably chalk it up to Mick recognizing the popularity of post-apocalyptic fiction among today's youth.

Mick's influences do show up in all aspects of what they do no doubt.
I have noticed a real affinity for vintage Americana he seems to have. Neon signs, of the liquor and eat here variety.. When I was in LA hanging outside rehearsals for Zip Code one time, he had his driver stop across the street and he jumped out and had a few pics taken of him under a very cool vintage Liquor sign and then was off...

Hearing recently about Charlie's collaborations with Mick re all their art, I wonder if Charlie's influences are also involved in projects like this..

Great song! Silly video. At least the Stones could have been in it a bit???? And who cares about a woman driving around in a car and being stopped by some grunge guy in a police car. Why not show some live in studio footage and some cool black and white shots? And why not a smokey blues club with drinking and smoking. . . Seemed like they wanted to tap into the Twilight teenie fan.

Over 2 million views in less than 48 hours, fantastic numbers, it will help to sell the album/track to a wide young audience, far from the Stones and VERY FAR from blues music.

Twilight was YEARS ago. Stewart is 26...there are no teen Twilight fans anymore.

She will always have the hint of Twilight, and has that teenie appeal. Not a great actress, monochromatic, and boring. Unnecessary when you could have done so much more.

Apparently not, as this video attracted more views in a day than Hate To See You go has in nearly a month.

So credit to Kristen Stewart for helping sell the album, as she generated plenty of headlines of her own just for appearing in the video. Had it been another moody, black and white video of the band in a club it's doubtful anyone outside of the fanbase would've taken notice.

Good point. But I didn't catch what they were saying. I like Zebras.

Is this from a movie about a stolen police car an a missing zebra? I'm probably being too literal right now..

Keith would've been a better choice as the cop.

Speaking about working with the iconic British rockers, Kristen revealed it didn’t take much for her to come onboard with the unique musical project. She said: ‘It didn’t take much more than a few words to get me amped on the idea. The Stones.’A 65 mustang. Alone in Los Angeles. And the shoot was just as dreamy as the idea. We tore LA apart in a day and we had one hell of a sound track.
