This site has past set lists and fan reviews.

The band is different than in 2016 and Paul Carrack, who sang a couple of songs, will not be there - that might change the setlist a bit.

Too bad Exhibitionism ends the weekend prior. Any extension possible? Please and thank you!

There's still tickets available for both the upcoming LA Forum shows in March! Tickets should be super easy to get for the September shows.
I might try for the final night if I can get them 'reasonably' priced. Could be the last time, and I would like to bid him farewell! winking smiley

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's doing Desert Trip II

I last saw him in Shanghai. I guess that will be my last Clapton show.I would like to see him do a tour in small venues with Bonamassa. Best Clapton show was way back then with Muddy Waters in Richmond, Virginia.

I would prefer to have EC play together with Robert Cray or Robert Randolph or Buddy Guy over Joe Bonamassa .Maybe even Mark Knopfler or Gary Clark Jr.

According to the Wheres Eric website, the March dates are sold out!
Hence the return in September.
You would think these very short tours (x2) would be more physically taxing than a single eight concerts treck?

According to Ticketmaster there are still tickets for both L.A. Forum March shows .
Saturday is now looking close to sold out with just a few overpriced official Platinum tickets and some random standard price singles available.
Sunday still has plenty in various categories.

For those like myself who might have been on the fence about next weeks L.A. Forum shows, a bunch of floor tickets have been dropped for both nights.
Many in row 1 in Sec H (center - 20 rows from stage), and other sections for $250+ which were originally $500+...probably unsold/unwanted VIP's. Tempting................

You'll enjoy yourself! Just out of MSG - a good night. And Gary Clrk Jr, one of the 2 opening acts, blew me away. Cheers!

Now I'm looking forward to seeing Clapton once again - it's been a few years!

Well, hopefully I will have a much different impression of Gary Clark Jr this time. I have seen him twice and was unimpressed both times. Found him quite boring actually, especially compared to someone like Bonamassa. Going next Sunday.

Good luck, B'Dude. Clark got several enthusiastic standing O's, so he impressed more folks than me. I'd see him again.

Did he do or say any sort of tribute to Chuck? Thats like the only thing I don't love about Clapton based off looking at the setlist, it always looks like exactly the same stuff. He rarely blows me away on paper.

In his 2015 RAH shows, just a few months after Jack Bruce's passing, EC did not say one word in tribute to Jack. Nor did he show up to either of the Jack Bruce memorial concerts that have been held.

He couldn't even do it for someone who pushed him and challenged him musically, he's not going to do it for his early influence.

Not surprised. It is one of the reasons I've never loved his shows. Incredible player, and part of a concert isn't HAVING to mention recent things, or anything for that matter, but I do think its a nice touch. Kinda keeps it from being a perfunctory show. Good setlist though it looks like.

I had tickets for tonight, and when I learned Chuck passed I picked up a pair for last night as well, thinking there might be some sort of tribute. Nope, Clapton made no mention of it. Gary did say how CB influenced the song he just played.

Clapton's playing was great, but nothing too unexpected set list wise.

For anyone on the fence, TM was doing flex pricing and they were dropping ticket prices in the days leading up to the show. $500 - $295, $295 - $75.

It seems as though ticket sales for his concerts have been 'steady'...rather than well over subscribed. Are we surprised?

Interestingly he did add Gary Moore's still got the blues back in 2011 just after Gary Moore passed away. Can't remember if he made comment to his passing other than playing the song.

Not really a 'review' per se - more like a synopsis.
The video actually says more than the review: that he has a great band and he still has some chops - maybe not as fiery and blistering as once was - but what can one expect at his age?
Since the early '80's, I don't think I've ever missed him when he rolls through my neck of the woods. Very fortunate to be able to see him again - he's always been a guitar 'hero' to me, and always will.

Last time I saw him, it was at Royal Alber Hall, and the other musicians onstage with him really added a dimension to the show that would have been absent without those particular musicians (Derek Trucks, Doyle Bramhall and, later, Robert Cray among others). Hell of a show.

Wow! I always thought you never left the west coast.

I stumbled upon it last night as someone here posted a Periscope feed. It's still active for a few more hours so check it out. I was a nice listen but a very short show IMO. The song selection could have been a blues tribute. I think it would have been a much better listen in a smaller venue, theatre size. He even did a three song acoustic set.

Setlist:

01.Key to the Highway
(Charles Segar cover)

02.Badge
(Cream song)

03.I'm Your Hoochie Coochie Man
(Willie Dixon cover)

04.I Shot the Sheriff
(The Wailers cover)

05.Driftin' Blues
(Johnny Moore's Three Blazers cover)

06.Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out
(Jimmy Cox cover)

06.Tears in Heaven

08.Layla
(Derek and the Dominos song)

09.Somebody's Knocking
(J.J. Cale cover)

10.Wonderful Tonight

11.Cross Road Blues
(Robert Johnson cover)

12.Little Queen of Spades
(Robert Johnson cover)

13.Cocaine
(J.J. Cale cover)

Encore:

14.Sunshine of Your Love
(Cream song)

15.Before You Accuse Me
(Bo Diddley cover) (with Gary Clark, Jr.) (also with Jimmie Vaughan)
