thumbs up Great News indeed.
Hope there is an early version of I CAN FEEL THE FIRE with Mick on Leadvocal and the very early version of IT'S ONLY ROCK 'N' ROLL with David Bowie present.

Will buy it anyway. Only got the original vinyl albums............

Great!
I've listened to Now Look way more than IORR or Black And Blue, it's such and underrated album. Ronnie is a killer songwriter, too bad he almost never got to write anything for the Stones.

Listened to the ''The First Barbarians'' from Kilburn 1974 the other day and it really is a fantastic concert as Ronnie and Keith themselves state in the ''According To The Rolling Stones'' book. Too bad the crappy audio quality takes away from the brilliant performance.

he has his share of contributions ... off the top of my head, Hey Negrita, Everything Is Turning To Gold, Dance, Pretty Beat Up.

I think he also has a couple on Dirty Work so he loses some credibility there.

Ronnie has had such an underrated run IMO, from his work with Beck to the Faces and then his solo albums up until the early eighties were fantastic in my opinion (aside from poor mixing on one). Then not to mention his efforts with the stones on top of that.
I listen to his early albums all the time. And the first barbarians stuff is terrific! Great listen and anyone who has the time to watch the live recording of it I recommend doing so!

Ive said this several times here, but I listen to RW solo albums more than Stones these days. All his albums.
From the link I am not sure he said that there was extra outtakes to be released with the two albums.

great news....his solo work was outstanding...I don't agree that he's lost any credibility with Dirty Work...that's all on KR.

What kind of «new» material will be included?

I hope this isn't a 2 CD-box with the two albums + a few tracks from the already released Kilburn gig.

However, I'm crossing my fingers for a great release! Such monumental albums. They still sound fresh thumbs up

"two 2CD Deluxe Editions" means to me that each one will be a 2 CD edition.

But when seeing it like this: I've Got My Own Album To Do & Now Look (Original Recording Masters/Deluxe 2 CD Set/Limited Edition)

What do you think, then?

Two different screenshots from the Friday Music Facebook page both indicate that is one double CD containing both albums rather than two double CD sets with bonus tracks.

None of these albums are produced by Keith and Bobby, btw...

Reminds me on the "Twofer"-package of Neck and 1234 released years ago. Great albums, but remastered? only remastered? I'm not expecting bonus-tracks but I'd love to be proven wrong.

what would be worse, a She's The Boss 'expanded edition', or a twofer with Primitive Cool?

Ugly question and hard to answer, no?

The second. Actually I hate the first album, but I think Primitive Cool is pretty good.

Gimme Some Neck needs to be remastered if possible. If not then rerecord it!!thumbs up

I doubt it would have IORR as it's writing credit is Mick and Keith... I don't think they would approve.

Won't do, imo, it needs to be remixed - track by track, remove effects etc. Put it together again first. It sounds like a joke. I love the songs, though.

True. Ronnie has the most enjoyable solo albums as far as the Stones are concerned. Perhaps the first two KR solo albums are the best. And Ronnie's live albums sound so FULL, still LOOSE. Just listened to Live and Eclectic, and the Stones songs on it sound way better than any live versions from the Stones themselves.

I've always wondered why he he is all over the place on his solo albums and he so reserved when gigging with the Stones.

There's such a huge difference in quality, intensity and approach between his solo output and his hot stuff with the Stones.

Loving Ron!

Dogshit in the Doorway in Super Deluxe Edition! Now that would be something!!!!

I actually enjoy listening to She's The Boss now and then. It ain't that bad!
