I was the world's biggest Alice Cooper fan in high school (graduated in '73). Saw them twice on the "Killer" tour and once on the "Billion Dollar Babies" tour.
Saw him a week ago and it was one of his best shows over the forty+ year span of seeing his shows. Tight band, great fx, and plenty of (gallows) humor.
I saw this last year when they did it (on Youtube of course). It was awesome! Whole set was. Probably their best of their very limited reunions. Alice sounded excellent. I have no idea why they wouldn't release the whole thing. Always been a fan of the Alice Cooper GROUP, and I love it when they get their proper due (I still am amazed the Hall Of Fame got it right and inducted all of them and not just Alice). Alice has talked a lot about them getting back together and I think it really is on the horizon this time. Kinda got thrown up again a few years ago when he had them on his Nightmare 2 album and it seems he's kept in touch since then. I believe he said earlier this year a reunion is imminent, and its long overdue. I'm expecting it next year and I'll be thrilled when it happens. They are so good and they can all still play great.
To board, or not to board my flight from Philly to Vegas tomorrow? I have until 2pmEST 10/21. I feel bad for the people in Vegas already...but I want to be with them at the same time.
