I m so F ing bummed i just checked in ad the lady said they canceled it but don t leave Saturday looks like it might be on @#$%& though the stones would of known if Mick had issues don t let us know 12 hours before the show the weird thing is i took the last flight out of LA and i m a frequent flyer on mutiple carriers and the last flight to vegas on 4 carriers were all delayed from Los Angeles and i just got here at 2:AM. Really weird i think it could be bad ticket sales but who knows i looked for ticket s the last week and you could get tickets anywhere but in the front A and C blocks everything else was wid open i could of got section B row A last night for face. I don t know what s up but Mick could of gave us a heafs up sooner imo. Owell Enjoy Las Vagas maybe he wants to see the presidential Debate Jk i feel bad for eveybody that traveled and spent 10 s of thousands of dollars hopefully they come through for us!! Don t go gamble all your money away in your sorrows like me lmao!! Go have a shot of johnny Walker Blue Label in there blues album there releaing and Enjoy it!!!Lets hope Saturday for all of us who came out here to Vegas

I feel sorry for you, but please take a little time to use some grammar. What you've written comes off as total gibberish.

Funny you should say that, if you can't understand this you can't understand anything. Is iorr only for the educated. I mean loads of posters are from all over the world and English is not their native language, surely literary mistakes can be tolerated.

And people write quickly with their cell phones now, with all the @#$%& auto correction and abbreviations that lead to hard to read-posts etc..

Something tells me stonesfrkk is indeed an american, though.

eye rolling smiley Say no more, they just can't help it lol

I'm just as guilty as the next guy here smiling smiley

And you've had all that practice spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

So disappointed but so understand. It was brutally dusty in the desert and I was only there for one weekend and had a scarf wrapped around my mouth and nose by the end.

So glad I decided to fly back to SF in between concerts so at least so far I have only lost money on one hotel night and one flight. Really hope Mick gets better quickly and the Sat. show is on. Or at least they cancel before 3pm Friday so I dont have to pay my hotel!

GET BETTER SOON MICK!!!!! WE LOVE YOU.

I guess maybe since there is no show going on tonight we could all meet and have a Stones party somewhere.
Anyone else up for this?

We came all the way here so we should at least make the most of it.

Nothing like hearing stories of Stones travels.

I don't think this show will be rescheduled, it was "cancelled" not "postponed."

I might be able to make that now if its after Saturday?
Sorry for all the folks that are there now.

The conspiracy theory in me says that Mick isn't sick, but this is the result of poor ticket sales for Saturday. I think they are banking on the fact that many people already traveled to Vegas and will extend their stay and buy tickets for Saturday. That would also explain why this poor selling Saturday show has not been flexed or excessively lucky dipped. Otherwise cancel both shows now so people who have not yet traveled can change their plans.

Nutcase. And the moon landing was faked...

Oh no, people with disposable income are STUCK in Las Vegas for a few days with nothing to do?

Sounds quite tragic.

Not as tragic as NOT having disposable income....

I am really, really sorry for the Wednesday Vegas fans. That's crushing.

Last time I was in Vegas my work sent me for a 1 night gig, then free time for 2-3 days, I was 2 months preggo, so in between throwing up expensive fancy meals,
we went to an art gallery in one of the hotels, gondola boat road to pretend in Venice, Cirque de Soleil show,
and I thought the suggestion of Grand Canyon excursion sounds very cool,
did not realize...

Hope you all can make the best of it.

This was a major surprise to the entourage - they arrived in town only a couple of hours before the news broke: and they did not know until the rest of us - well maybe a few minutes before.

I was told the desert air/dust was the problem - from someone very close to Mick.

So I think this really is a genuine problem - forget the conspiracy shit.

It happened to me at Wembley in 1990 (we got there before we heard); and then I flew over to Atlantic City from London in 2006 to see a note on the door postponing the gig.

Fingers crossed for everyone on Saturday - and hoping for a re-schedule on Monday...

I agree about the stupid conspiracy shit. I also honestly beleive when they cancelled the 2006 Atlantic city show it was because 3 nights later they were filming at the beacon theater. Mick wanted to rest so he could mug for the camera. I am still pissed About that one I could not go to the make up date 3 weeks later.

T-Mobile is available next Wednesday the 26th, and they may have some downtime before heading to NYC to open Exhibitionism. Maybe they will reschedule this time?

Very sorry to everyone who travelled for this.

That is what we are hoping for. Found out about the cancellation last night in time to get a credit from Southwesr Airlines and my friend called hotel and was abke to get a refund, even though supposedly there is a no refund polocy. Hopefully we will hear something soon.

Didn't you all hear his nasality during the desert gigs? I think his laryngitis (if it is that) is chronic. It's been a companion of his ever since the late 90s.

Brutal! Oh well, shit happens. I was already asleep last night when the news came out, started getting a bunch of texts early this morning. Our buddy was already at the airport as he had scheduled a work meeting around the show. With no known make up date and other life stuff happening our show must go on. Plus no refunds on hotels, etc this last minute. We're still going to make it a party in the desert. Just without a Stones show <insert sad face>

Sorry we will miss meeting up with you as planned, hopefully things will work out, I texted you as soon as I found out.

And what a bummer of a text it was! But thanks for reaching out and giving me the heads up. If they do reschedule the gig there's a chance I can still make it happen.

For those with time on their hands and thinking of the Grand Canyon trip - I can recommend it. When there 9 years ago I took the helicopter trip in, and it is one of those things that completely lived up to my imaginings. We flew in over the cliff that Thelma and Louise drove off, landed on a plateau well above the river, and spent some time in serious awe. Still very glad I had that experience.

i believe Mick got Vegas throat but those shows did not sell out, tonight had a huge amount of tickets sitting unused on the secondary market and in the hands of casino hosts giving them away.saturdays show would've been to a half empty arena.

he has throat problems but it's not unreasonable for someone to say they bailed because of ticket sales, the truth could be somewhere in between.

they priced themselves out of the market and this is a good way to save face,my guess is they cancel both shows and move on.

For those of you out in Vegas today, if the casinos or other shows dont appeal to you take a trip to the Hoover Dam or Grand Canyon.
Also a short drive north is the beautiful Valley of Fire.
Nice day time trips.

I had flown from Tokyo to Philadelphia in 2006 when I found out that they cancelled Atlantic City. I ended up seeing the Liberty Bell and Constitution Hall, and drowning my sorrows in beer and a cheese steak sandwich.

I was already in A.C., so ended up seeing Paul Stanley instead. I think you got the better deal. Moral of the story: lemons/lemonade. Billy Idol is at the HoB Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. Plenty of other options listed on Pollstar, incl. Don Rickles on Saturday.

That's how Mick sings.

They should have got Keith to sing, much better voice, less nasal. Sounded mighty fine on Silver the other night. Best ever from he and Wood. Hell would anyone ask for a refund if Ron and Keef did a Barbarians thing. Sorry just trying to shed some light into all this depression on here.

I was already headed to Reno and decided to go by way of Vegas Saturday when I was offered a ticket for under $100. Got a free room too. If anything happens I will just go see Elton John. Or do nothing as I would only be out about $30 on the whole thing and still happy to going to Reno via bus some other way than Central Valley.

They could justify those prices at the MGM but not in an arena

Some say this is a tragedy. Well it is not. It is a tragedy if there is a car accident and people die. Nobody died. Your ticket will be refunded. Even parking will be refunded they say.

I know people have paid a lot for travel, but that is part of the deal. I have been in Atlantic City, Benidorm, Milano, Bilbao, Amsterdam, Perth, Melbourne, Cardiff, London and a dozen more cities where they have cancelled because Mick lost his voice or Keith fell of a ladder or cut his finger and so on. These things do happen. The Stones are human.

Get well Mick, and thanks for all the shows you have been giving us over the years!
