Keith Urban is Friday, so his stuff will be around tomorrow.

Not talking about this show specifically, but...

I was always under the assumption that if a show is postponed and to be rescheduled at a future date, the ticketholder has the option to either get a refund or keep the tickets for a rescheduled show.
Maybe depends on the artist, but it only seems the right thing to do as many can't make the rescheduled show.

If the show is absolutely cancelled with no hope of a reschedule - automatic refund.

I am not far from T Mobile I will walk over late and see if trucks are coming back in. That would be the first sign the show is going on.
Everything including the merchandise had to be cleared to make way for Keith Urban tonight.
So, the Urban stuff will be going out. If there are trucks coming in that will be a good sign. No trucks not a good sign.
Not sure how long it takes to set up all their staging but I'd imagine they want to get in as soon as possible for sound checks etc.

Let us know. Maybe you will see Bjornulf. Thanks.

I wish Keith would trade in his Rain Stick for a Mick Stick.

Sorry, I am Australian. Its a day ahead there and I am not in sync with the time here yet.
I will walk over AFTER the Urban concert.

BV will be the first to know.

I would think a large amount of the fans in the area went to desert trip instead since tickets were really cheap. They may have miscalculated demand and it wouldn't surprise me if they just reschedule for their next "tour" in 2017.

There won't be another tour in the USA.

Are you positive? 100% sure? Or are just big talking?
Are you willing to give me a million to one odds on that?

My Dollar to you pay me a Million Dollars if when they tour here again?

The woman at AXS gave me both those options, and also the option to try to get tickets for Saturday. So a reschedule is still an option until we hear otherwise.

Reading through these ten pages we start to get a clear picture that the Stones have indeed out priced themselves. I have been a huge fan of this band but the greed of Mick and co seems to be backfiring. Unless money is no object they seem to be out of reach for most fans wanting to see them live. Its mostly young people that pay to see live acts and the purse strings of most young fans only stretch so far. Their advancing years as performers means that we are no longer getting the best R & R band in the world for our bucks, this fact alone should mean tickets for the Stones should be getting cheaper if anything. Could this spell the end of the Stones, because without commanding huge amounts of money on ticket sales, i can't see Mick especially being motivated to tour again.

Hopefully we will see them on tour again next year, and who knows, this may even teach them a lesson to bring down prices for tickets and merchandise, but don't hold your breath lol.

Well, I am glad you didn't take the bet. Over time you have been one of the few who posts here who seem to have good info and if you had taken the bet it would have meant "not good" things.

So there is a chance we get another Stones tour in the USA.

The Stones have finally hit the price wall. If you can't sellout a Saturday night in Las Vegas at these prices, where in the world are you going to sellout? Seriously?

Thanks BV . It's stressful enough without all these ridiculous insults.

We leave for the airport in a few hours . 3 UK fans flying in on a leap of faith...Whatever happens, we still love this band.

I really hope the Saturday show is on for all you fans still heading to Vegas, or already there.
I know Beast and a few other Brits were there before the 19th, so I am hoping there is a positive outcome for everyone. smileys with beer

I think the wording "Cancelled" is used to ensure the Tour Insurance pays up if they can't re-schedule. "Postpone" means just that - it will happen later.

Remember all the legal stuff a year or two ago about the Aus/NZ tour when L'Wren died.

Judging by the reactions of anyone close to the band, the air was shit in the Desert and everyone was affected.

They will try and re-arrange, but it won't be until 30th Oct or 1st Nov, or 7, 8 or 9th November - the free dates at the T Mobile. MY guess is they go for one of the first 2.

As Bjornulf has said many times on this forum and thread - How many times do you see lots of empty seats? Filling concerts is becoming like and airplane ticketing - book early to guarantee at list price or take you chance on a lower price or standby at the last minute.

My humble opinion. and fingers crossed for Saturday

I agree that the price wall has been hit. Hard. I have six tickets on stub hub with an original cost of $350, marked down to $250. Nothing but crickets, and no interest at that price level, even with a 30% price drop. Sections 209, and 221. If anyone is interested feel free to email me at dwbickel@statlab.com.

Nobody is going to buy a ticket at this point until there is an announcement that there will be a show tomorrow, no?

You may want to go lower. Stubhub buyer fees reduce the discount notably. And you can get $350 seats via AXS that are much closer to the stage.

There’s been no official announcement yet, but it looks as if Mick Jagger has a green light from his doctors to perform with his band The Rolling Stones at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night. Specialists ordered Mick sidelined from Wednesday’s show to rest his voice from a bout with laryngitis.

That performance was canceled, and as of yet there is no word on a rescheduled date. The Stones office in New York told me this morning that Saturday’s show is on, and my tickets have been assured. Meantime, bandmate guitarist Ronnie Wood attended Cirque du Soleil’s “Michael Jackson One” on Tuesday night at Mandalay Bay.

Well I sit here at work hoping to see word of tomorrow night...it's only a three hour plus drive for me to Vegas so we shall see...A November 8th redo would be fan-tabulous for me as it is my 66th Birthday and the anniversary of my first shows in Los Angeles in 1969 for my 19th Birthday

Pulled into Vegas yesterday afternoon after a smooth six hour drive through the desert. We took the Tropicana Blvd. exit and the first thing we saw was the T-Mobile arena with giant Stones concert advert lit up on screen for the 19th...in small text below it..."cancelled". Checked into our comped room at the Tropicana, and the first thing I see on the table is the Las Vegas magazine with the Stones on the cover..."The Rolling Stones Ready to Rock the Desert". Couldn't help but feel bad again for all of those from near and afar who were counting on seeing Wednesdays cancelled show - my heart goes out to all of you. We still have no tickets and little intention of trying to see Saturdays show until the prices drop drastically (if they do), and don't even know the status of the show, but will see what happens in the next 24 hours or so. I hope Mick is felling better, and I hope the show goes on for those who have tickets!

***MrDDDD's post above is encouraging, but time will tell....

Mick has cancelled shows over the years because of laryngitis.

It happens. It's surprising it doesn't happen more than it does and not with just Mick Jagger but a lot of touring acts.

Anyone know anything about cancelled shows for their career because of it? Where the hell would that be found? I recall the BANG tour had one or two shows cancelled. Were there a few shows on the BRIDGES or LICKS tours when he got sick with it and had to cancel?

All of the 2006/07 European shows I attended were at best 3/4 filled, Vienna, Munich, especially Berlin, Brno. And the prices were far below 2012-onwards prices, especially in the US.

Yes maybe the original date for "live at the 10 spot" had to be postponned - early October during the Bridges tour.

Vegas seems like a bad place to schedule. Lots of competition from other acts selling cheaper tickets. Plus you are really not getting much publicity as most U.S. media is on the east coast. For example, if they played Madison Square Garden they would create some buzz that would sell records.

To be able to see our favourite band over this long a stretch of time, we're very lucky. Thanks for illuminating that!

AND... I just received an email from the Arena about parking for tomorrow night. Seems the show indeed will go on? Fingers, toes and eyes crossed (I should be easy to spot at the bar).

Yeah and when is the last time they played MSG vs Vegas? They probably decided to play Vegas because it would be cheaper to move their stuff from Indio, cutting corners when if anyone doesn't have to it's them...
