That's what I'd call a grotesque post.
For what reason? Please explain.
What a drag it is gettin' old
He hasn´t wrote a single line to deserve this honour in the past three decades.
He´s written good lyrics in the 60s/early 70s, but even that wouldn´t qualify him. Nobel prize in literature for a singer/songwriter? Grotesque. Who´s next? Bruce Springsteen?
Like the Academy Awards, Emmys, Golden Globes - just BS.
Remember Sean Connery winning an Oscar just for dying in "The Untouchables"? I almost did wet my pants with laughter when I heard "The winner is..."
... it´s all BS.
He has a soft spot for the warhorses, surely

Nobel of Peace for Ron...he was instrmental for the peace agreement between keith and mick in the eighties..

I cannot judge about their choice, because I don't know enough about literature, but
I think it is an important breakthrough for popular art that it is recognized as being
a serious way to express oneself. Congratulations to mr Zimmerman.

I was absolutely positive it would never happen as the Nobel committee excludes any names accused of plagiarism (and in terms of plagiarism Dylan, well...) but I'm happy for Old Grumpy.
