I keep finding it fascinating that a team can be completely superior to its opponent, and then the next day it is reversed. Same teams, same players, just a day later.

In reality you can say that for any sport. Look at tennis, where you might win the first set 6-2 but then lose the next 6-0.

Agree, but tennis is an individual sport and baseball a team sport. Not the whole team could have an off-day, right?
Just trying to understand this

Cleveland win 1-0. A shut out for their pitchers.
A little tense for them that last Cubs at bat tho with men on 2nd and 3rd two out, they had a good chance, a lot of tension, a good battle.
Thrill a minute that last half inning.
Series Cleveland 2 games, Chicago 1 game
Game 4 tomorrow night.

The Cleveland Indians were one of the best teams in MLB this year. They were on fire all year. In no way would it be false, absurd, or a distorted representation of 2016 MLB if the tribe wins the Championship.

Sianis’ family claims that he dispatched a telegram to team owner Philip K. Wrigley which read, “You are going to lose this World Series and you are never going to win another World Series again. You are never going to win a World Series again because you insulted my goat.

My faith in the American people was briefly restored watching the Cubs fans at Wrigley Field last night -- what a game! So glad the Cubs got that win there!
