Just bought a copy using the FNAC link provided in the posting above - they do mail order, at least to the uk. Not cheap but hopefully good!

They wanted to get this blues album authentic-sounding. That vocal-echo was pretty standard 50s/60s (Sun and Chess) sound, powerage. But I'm pretty sure you knew that already
