I looked at this attic, and found really interesting pieces

For instance, this article, published in Spain in 1972, La Vanguardia, which is truly enthusiast about Exile on Main Street.

The author, Albert Mallofré (see picture below), is now a 90 year old gentleman who was a Spanish Stones enthousiast since Datford... A journalist fighting against Franco's dictatorship, he also interviewed Lennon when the Beatles played in Madrid in 1965 -

Talking about the untrue gap between generations...

That article on a Berne 1973 concert is pretty amazing too, not exactly the current "Vegas" style, the only one most of us here have experienced...

A good friend of mine moved to Berne to work in 1972 and before he moved we joked about the total unlikelihood of the Stones touring there - it being a famously dull place (albeit the Swiss capital city). When The Stones concerts rolled around he sent me tickets to both shows. My first international Stones trip.

Long time ago, but my memory of the shows was that they were good - not great, but the bootlegs I have of both really are pretty underwhelming.

Incredible place - at this late stage in the game. There is a link to 'rollingstonesvault - whoo, one of the most amazing collections I have ever seen.
The Spanish/French link too.
