Does anybody know much about the Stones' involvement in the US show Music Scene in 1969?
Apparently the Stones were set to appear on the show but never did.
This video was as close as they came - a pilot apparently made in London on June 13 1969, the day the band held a press conference in Hyde Park to announce Mick Taylor joining the group.

I remember Music Scene....it was only around for a few shows....I remember 10 years after on it...

Hosted by David Steinberg. Seem to recall Janis and Sly on it..., Was pretty "far out" for the time -- was the tail end of the Ed Sullivan era and a whole show dedicated to rock music probably didn't happen again until "In Concert" or "Midnight Special" a few years later.

Didn't last too long. There's a ABC promo for it on YouTube somewhere, with a brief appearance from the Stones (and I do mean brief).
