Black Sabbath is one of the most influential bands of all time...easily top 5, maybe even top 2 (after the Beatles).

I echo the sentiment that Iommi has a long and healthy life. He's one of the most prolific guitar riff writers in history, and has probably written more memorable riffs than any guitarist in the rock era.

Geezer is a criminally underrated bassist, and the Butler/Ward rhythm section is one of the best ever.

And Ozzy, for all his musical limitations, lack of writing ability and sleazy business practices (via his wife) is still one of the most memorable front men ever. He also has an unmistakable voice that's genuinely eerie and ethereal.

I hope it will be a memorable farewell concert for the fans and Black Sabbath

Are there any streams tonight, or any IORR boots on the ground?

No, I'm not calling you fairies ;-)

I am sure the show will be recorded for (heavily overdubbed) official release later that year. A different setlist would be a surprise but I don´t think there will be any surprises.

Great show in Cologne!
I'm no BS fan, I have only 2 LPs of the guys. But I thought maybe I should see them on stage for the first and last time...
It was worth the money!

They will stream the final song and bow on their Facebook page. I'm sure there will be somebody periscoping the concert tonight as well.

Ozzy's vocal range is rather limited. There only a select number of songs he can nail live...plus his brain is so fried that remembering a multitude of lyrics is challenging, even with a teleprompter.

Well I saw them twice the last few years and he wasn't using a teleprompter and sounded really good. Especially on Hand of Doom and Warpigs. Fantastic. They opened with War Pigs the first time I saw them three years ago. Hairs on the back of the neck went up! Great red light mimicking air raid lights.... he came in perfectly. He did an exceptional job with Black Sabbath, especially the "ooooh god! Oooh NO!". Awesome!

01. Black Sabbath
02. Fairies Wear Boots
03. Under The Sun / Every Day Comes And Goes
04. After Forever
05. Into The Void
06. Snowblind
07. War Pigs
08. N.I.B.
09. Hand Of Doom
10. Supernaut / Sabbath Bloody Sabbath / Megalomania (medley)
11. Rat Salad
12. Iron Man
13. Dirty Women
14. Children Of The Grave

Encore:

15. Paranoid

The medley is the only major setlist difference. This is pretty much what I saw in August last year.
