How big is your Rolling Stones folder on your computer?

How crazy are you, really? smiling smiley

Mine is 122 gigabytes. That's just movies and related media, but not mp3s. I am sane enough to keep the mp3s in my regular music folder.

To paraphrase Carl Sagan, billions and billions of Rolling Stones bits.

It used to be HUGE, but now it only has the live RSG stuff from Animal Duds bootleg.

1.24 terabytes and counting on a 4 terabyte hard drive.
Loads of movies but no mp3s. Lots of FLACs
I need to get a life.

A big pile of vinyl and reel-to-reel + 6 or 7 albums on my laptop.

The IORR Recordings fill up most of my hard drive smiling smiley

4.98 GB. That's strictly mp3s. I don't have any FLAC or movies.

I also have loads of other stuff including your press cuttings that you posted a while back which I have been busy adding to. I also renamed them so that they were ordered chronologically.

The music mp3 thumb drive plugged into my laptop, which is a copy of the mini SD cards in my two mp3 players, contains 23 Rolling Stones albums.

19 other Rolling Stones albums have been deleted from all 3 drives and are stored elsewhere, and not listened to very much. They were deleted to make room for other
material on top of not being all that popular with me.

As far as gigabytes are concerned, I really do not know, or care.

Some years ago I sold my entire collection of official and bootleg vinyl records, 8-track tapes, cassettes, reel-to-reel and whatever other media you can think of a Stones release and bought a huge and brand new collection of MP3 and FLAC files. Now I'm trying to sell this collection of digital files in order to buy my old collection again. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Just on my computer, excluding the physical CD's, Tapes, Vinyl, DVD's, Blu-Rays and memorabilia.

DVD's - 229 GB
Official Downloads - 3.5 GB
R.O.I.O - 5.34 GB
TV - 4.95 GB
Music - WAV Files 62 GB
Music - Mp3 Files 7.85 GB
Photo's - 100 MB
Mick Jagger DVD's - 9.53 GB

Not as much as some of you, but enough to traumatize my wife when i decide to reorganize it all and i'm on the computer all day.

Close to the value Deltics mentioned. More than 1 TB for sure. Only official releases are accounted. Audio bootlegs are different story, but close to 300 GB, I believe, too.

Actually, official CD discography in FLAC (image+cue+scans) is about 110 GB. Hi-res files and DVD rips and bootlegs took the rest.

This is no HDD space you should worry about but where to put extra shelf in your room to keep music in physical formats winking smiley
