Am I the only one, here, who views You Got Me Rocking as a 'live track' Perhaps it's because it's been as mainstay for so long, and I rarely listen to Voodoo Lounge, but I only ever 'hear it' in a live setting.

You got me rocking definitely works better live. I prefer the NS version to the one on VL, and I have heard several decent versions live.

There's been album songs that I thought would've been better left off and possibly used as a B-side (and the opposite in some cases). YGMR is one. That fact that it's better live doesn't really do it though because they have so many other better songs they could do.

Basically I think the song is a safe card for the band. Hard to go wrong with and, I guess, easy to play. And kind of a sing-along (hey, hey...). Instant payback for the band.

As pointed out earlier, I think... Keith started the song on his 1993 tour.

3:35 is the main lick for YGMR.
