We were starting the tour soon after the death of Brian and it wasn't known if Mick Taylor would mesh for the long run. Jagger told me to consider him a temporary hire for the tour. It was a test run..Quote

Congrats, Ron! Looking forward to this one.
A question: Why is Mick Taylor named as a temp? He was a full member surely?

Is the main focus and content of the book the 1969 tour?

So I ordered the book on the 18th and Amazon has postponed my shipping date until Feb 27th. Hopefully this means the book is selling well and they just need more stock. The suspense is killing me.
Amazon UK has been saying "Not in stock; order now and we'll deliver when available." since it first appeared on their site a few weeks ago and saying it would be released on February 14.
Same here, Deltics. I pre-ordered and it never shipped so I actually canceled my order because I thought there was some glitch which occasionally happens with Amazon. Figured I'd wait but after reading the review by swiss (thank you!) I re-ordered and now they tell me "Arriving Wednesday March 1st." Still looking forward to it, whenever.

Well that sucks... from the beginning I was worried about delivery...
This is a hardcover...Createspace is Amazon's printer-they only print paperbacks. I am using INgram/Lightning Source as the printer and was told that sometimes Amazon screws with third parties..seems to be the case..
I will be filing a complaint..
PS-the printer has plants in the UK and AU and they should supply direct..Quote

Yeah Amazon was supposed to ship today but looks like another delay. I will file a complaint but if you have an alternate source you can recommend Ron I will order from them......

I spoke with Ingram and they are getting on Amazon, but they say Amazon has 30 days to get it together after the release date and I released it on the 14th..
And with regard to Australia and the UK...seems I was supposed to put a separate price for each but that shouldn't have been the problem.
I released it early for you: the IORR fans..I should have expected some technical glitches..
I didn't want to ship books but I can be an alternate source. contact me from my siteQuote

Indeed, although last year, in Buenos Aires, we were swimming up and down sharing the pool with Anita Pallenberg........which was somewhat surreal!

Has anyone gotten the book from Amazon?
While I have pictures and documents no has seen..it is refreshing to get the same from fans (Katy MacLeod Davidson)
She sent me this photo her friend Larry took with a poloroid, almost 52 years ago: I was having a chat with Keith by the pool.
