PHOTO - Herb Ritts
"Charlie Watts by Herb Ritts, taken during the Some Girls sessions in ..."
That's from the ER sessions.
Charlie's photo is obviously from Some Girls (short hair) but what about the other photos? They are no necessarily a set of photos. I'm not sure who put these together or if they even go together. I just know the Keith in leather jack photos were taken in France outside of recording sessions.
Does anyone know anything about these photos? Any clues?

The shot of Keith is Paris 1977 or 78. Look at the SG promo shots. Same surroundings, same jacket, same haircut.
One of few occasions where Charlie is the most dressed up rock 'n' roll looking of the lot.

Weren't they also recording Emotional Rescue since leftovers went to ER? But technically they are Some Girls sessions.

The photos of Charlie and Ron are in the new Taschen book. They are listed as January-March 1978 at Pathe' Marchoni by Helmut Newton.

I just watched the videos above that GasLightStreet posted (thank you kindly ) and they do stand up in time with their very high quality production .Dare i say that they should have won awards maybe a oscar for short films because the entire band is performing together and the chemistry and interaction between Mick and Keith and Ronnie is to die for ,it's really that good before my eyes . The way Mick wags his index finger on his left hand ,He just exudes so much charm and charisma hence the worlds greatest rock and roll band .What a front man !
