If there are only eight shows, not two of them will be in former Communistic countries. There was talking about Belgrade OR Zagreb, though.

I think, there will be made an anouncement by the Stones, at the end of january, and sales will start at end of March.

Let's hope so
I need some action so badly I was considering flying from the U.K. to New Zealand for the weekend to see Springsteen next month.

Need some Stones information to stop my mind from wandering.

I haven't made any reservations for anything this year, waiting on the Stones to make announcements! Am still hoping for something in North America. Vancouver would be great. We could use our Southwest Airlines voucher from the cancelled Vegas concert. My Stones buddy can't swing Europe. If Desert Trip is the last time we see them, so be it, but would like a chance to see them again from a better vantage point.

A blues tour in stadiums and on fields? Not very likely. At best they will do two numbers of B&L.

My point was as the blues album is selling well, it won't be the first time a tour is named after there current album.
As the stones might want to leave the album with new songs later in the year.
Makes sense to me to push the blues album when and if they tour.
2/3 songs played from blue n lonesome is all I would expect.
I think we are all aware they not gonna play the whole album live, but mabe they would in a small club date.

The Bigger Bang concert in Madrid 07 had NO song from the album, most other 07 shows one.

Austria (IFPI Austria)[70] Platinum 15,000*
France (SNEP)[71] Platinum 100,000*
Germany (BVMI)[72] Gold 100,000^
Italy (FIMI)[73] Gold 25,000*
New Zealand (RMNZ)[74] Gold 7,500^
Poland (ZPAV)[75] Gold 10,000*
United Kingdom (BPI)[76] Gold 100,000^

According to Wikipedia these are the countries where Blue & Lonesome has been already certified gold or platinium. Remove New Zealand which is not in Europe, and you'll have probable half of the destinations of the European tour.

Great analysis! But if they only consider Europe's No. 1 countries it will be too long...

IORR spreads the news in The Netherlands!

The journalist wrote iior instead of IORR so I wrote them an email with the right name. Hopefully they change it.

Not very promising News unfortunately. "Concert promotor Mojo and the city of Nijmegen" do not have any information about the Stones visit. There are no contacts with the Stones yet."

So where does the rumour come from?

Most likely Mojo got a message from the Stones, not to talk about the gig, before a certain date. Happened before.
