Well, I was told after the Desert Trip and Vegas, but by that time it's getting cold in Europe, so it will probably be spring 2017. And I hate to report this, but sources say "the band wants to tour closer to home". Translation: Charlie is getting fed up?

Would be nice but in recent times in Europe the Stones rarely venture outside capital cities. And I'd be surprised (but delighted) if they came to Edinburgh. Sadly I think Hampden 2006 was their final show in Scotland
Could also mean some european shows are lined up for Nov. and Dec. 2016.

I think my source may be off on the dates, it can be cold in Europe in the fall, but it came straight from the top. So far my guy has been accurate about everything. The Fonda, San Diego, The S/A tour and Havana, Coachella. I've no reason to doubt him.
Oh yeah, all the Stones news I post is based on my wishes. I just sit around and conjure up club gigs, tours, and unicorns. Go back a few years and read my posts.

I don't think that 2016 is realistic – since there's gonna be an US tour in October/November and given that fact that you have to announce a tour some 4-6 weeks prior to the first show the only possibility might be to tour Europe in Late July and August. And that's the holiday season and it's already filled with lots of festivals… So – 2017 is more realistic
