...Yes, apparently.
(For some reason/-s, our little mini-league wasn't on display anymore in my account yesterday; and there was no way I could make it reappear...)

Had some luck with some unexpected bonusses, really;

got both 'basic' results right (W/L/D), but not the exact scores. Still I earned 3 points each, though.

Not everyone or every team does it but many people or teams do it, probably most. That is so.

I myself can not help but remember it and remember where I was.

That prediction game is real curious, one can have problems picking who will even win, lose or draw.

But if one picks an upset that no one else does and the correct score, you can get 7 points, I saw someone did it.

Curious indeed. I can predict a 0-0 draw in quarter finals, but I can not predict who will
finally win after the penalty shoutout, can I?


But nevertheless, it's just a bit of fun and it gives those who are interested in football
something to chat about. The one with most points is a hero, the others not so much,
but we should not take it too seriously.

It's just for fun, the IORR league is one of many.

It appears there are many leagues and some of them really have some good predictors getting a whole lot of the games correct.

hopefully the knockout stages will prove more open than the defensive group stages, i see a few low scoring draws though with extra time and penalties.

i dont agree with the current format of 3 teams qualifying from some groups, portugal qualified with 3 draws, no wins and 3 points yet get landed in the easier side of the draw while italy qualified after 2 games, topped the group and landed spain, wheres the justice.

i would also like to see comentators give some respect to portugals other players who are not called ronaldo, maybe when these players create numerous chances then they should get a mention just like ronaldo does even if hes just doing the wrong thing.

I think I got it right, but I would like to make sure. This means that when a match ends in a draw, we get the extra time, and the score after the extra time is what counts ???

Usually it's the score after regular time that counts. Before extra time and penalties. That's the standard.

I guess 4-5/8 will end as draws after regular time. And maybe 3-4 penalty shootouts? The typical score will be 1-1 after regular time. Just a wild guess...

It's a funny ol' game as they say, I was for Poland, they won the PK shootout but Switzerland were very good, more attacking though Poland's goalkeeper Fabianski, made up the difference, the Swiss scored a great bicycle kick goal in the bicycling hub, moreso in the past, St. Etienne. Hard done to Switzerland.

Good lord; what a heart breaker for Croatia; I feel gutted for them, a sort of England-styled loss.

It's the score BEFORE penalties that counts.

For example, the actual score for today's match between Portugal and Croatia it's marked on the website as 1-0 for Portugal but it ended 0-0 on the regular time, so I think the result on the extra time it's what counts.

well sorry for Switzerland who deserved to qualify but Shakiri scored the most beautiful goal so far imo.

some games were a bit boring yesterday.
I hope that France vs Ireland and Germany vs Slovakia will be more exciting.

yes, we've done it but ....first half was poor and weak from our team. Always the same mistakes.
It's fortunate there is a second half otherwise we would be out !

for the next round, we must play like we did in the second half.
