Though it's not good for my rating at the prediction game, I am rather pleased about
the procedings so far, with unexpected countries performing well and others not so very much.
I thought Germany would beat everyone without any effort, but they are disappointing.
Especially the attackers are "clumsy", I've got no other word for it. The best player
on the German side was Boateng, by far.

Should have been a penalty in the last minute. He pulls the sweater in the penalty area. Didn't happen though. Now Belgium has to win or draw against Ireland and Sweden has to win against Belgium in the last round.
And Zlatan has repeat a course in how to avoid offside!

It seems to me that he was looking for it when you look at the way he fell down on the ground.

I'm sure Sweden can do it against Belgium with a better Zlatan.

Well, it's a 50/50 decision. But if you look closely you can see that the Italian defender pulls his sweater. Which is a warning and freekick outside the penalty area
- and a penalty in the penalty area. If you go by the book. Anyway it's history now...

John Guidetti is an overrated player. I can't see what he has to add on this level. Éder, who made the decisive goal, by the way is a Brazilian citizen and player. I'm not so fond of these dual citizenship players.

ugly game. Italy played slow and bad. Of course it is a better team than Sweden but today only a personal action or sudden hit could make the difference. Could be the bar of Parole but in the end it was Eder's goal. Strong point: 0 goal conceded in two games and very few risks run. That is Italy at its best.

sweden v italy, the ref seemed to blow for a freekick easily any time an attacker challenged a defender in the penalty box, but ignored it when it the other way about, its a massive theme in tournament football, they dont want to give away soft penalties so they break up a teams attack by penalising the attacker instead no matter how soft the incident.

i dont think sweden were due a penalty in the last minute but neither was it a freekick against them.

boring game anyway, like so many others, defensive football is on top.

35 goals in 19 games, is less than 2 per game.

This is probably the weakest Swedish team I have ever seen. They have yet to produce a shot on goal in this tournament. What is Hamréns tactics? To rely on luck and Zlatan solely?

Zlatan was very good in the French championship with Paris st-Germain but disappointing in the Europa league.
The French soccer is weak compared to the other great nations of european football.
Maybe it has something to do with it.

Security should be lined up shoulder to shoulder on the sideline. I've seen it that tight.

Good game, I don't know if the Czechs would have knotted it up otherwise but for the stoppage in the play.
