Yes, I thought about King Crimson as suffiently different, and, who I do like, but I had already some band / group names. Some years ago I bought quite many Kinks albums that I have not yet listened to (in addition to those I had formerly), and I like the Kinks quite much, too. And to a varying degree I like my six albums from the Byrds. (The only impression I received from two studio albums and one live album by the Allman Brothers really is that during the something like seven times I listened to them more than a decade ago, they bored me.)
To my own list I might, of course, have added
Joy Division /New Order, which for quite a long period was my second favourite band, more than the Beatles, who maybe now are second favourites . (A couple of months ago, I bought four albums of New Order following after Republique,
added which I have not listened to yet). Maybe also I could have mentionned
Birthday Party /Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (also quite recently I bought as many as nine albums of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, the latest nine, which I am looking forward to listen to as well.)
In fact, each day my listening time has diminished.
