A very kind gesture. Immediately I thought, the Stones would never do this for anyone, including Bowie. To open a show with a tribute to a fallen musician is an even bigger honor to that person.
bruce did it for bowie too
And Don Henley.
And Don Henley's still living', so that's something.
But he also did it for Glenn Frey who is often mistaken for Don Henley.
I could see Keith doing a song from Merle.

So what are you saying then, you prefer the stones to prince? What a shocker!
I think almost everyone on this board would feel the same way.
But why are you upset that other people are upset, and trying to marginalize how they feel?
Does it make you feel better?
It's a shame he died at 57.
And no, it does not make me feel good that so many people are upset. Quite the contrary.
All I'm saying is what I said from the start.
With his amazing musical talent/ability/gift I expected better records. Or at least more good records than what he produced.
Why is that so offensive?

I made the same mistake Cristiano, as I could not name the full Eagles band apart from Joe Walsh, although I love their music.
So glad that Don is still alive and still rockin' and rollin'.

Yes, but perhaps it was due to my mistake. Sorry about that.
