What about the "lost 1972 live album" Videojames was talking about...

Did they film anywhere else on the '72 tour? Still pissed we don't have a decent filmed version of Rocks Off. I only care about No Security, after Wyman left, and I think we've just about drained the Wyman pool dry.

Paris 1976 has also been rumored.

IIRC, VideoJames alluded to footage filmed in Boston on the '72 tour.

Bill Grahams promoted 72 concerts in CA were filmed, at least in SF and SD, but only in B and W by Graham and not by the Stones. Where those tapes are now, who knows. They may have been destroyed in the fire at Graham's office many years ago. I have always wondered though if they, and the audio tapes of the Stones 1972 CA shows were among the items that were sold to the guy who now owns Wolfgang's Vault, and if he just can't release them for one reason or another ? It is my understanding that he bought the entire Graham archives.

Right here at IORR VideoJames hinted at a 1972 tour compilation from the well-known dates (Philie, Fort Worth, Houston, etc). He must be working on it.

Imo this could generate a very nice 2-cd set.

The already have ready or almost ready
1 Toronto 2005
2 Sticky Fingers Live 2015

They promised in 2009 reissue of No Security i.e. possibly with dvd

And keep in mind latect concert from Cuba.

I believe those + new album are the first candidates.

Also, new album = no vault release for awhile.

I wouldn't be so sure. It just seems as though there isn't a lot of concern these days with the timing of Stones releases. People don't flood to record stores the way they used to, and they're not trying to promote single after single like in the old days. I think the Vault releases will only be minimally delayed if at all with the new album, as they probably actually serve to boost each other's sales. That's why there's the whole "People who bought this also bought..." bit on Amazon, etc... I am guessing the more releases they can crank out, old and new, the more $$ they make. Bring it on.

In addition some of their fans are as old as the Stones are so the sooner the better.
