Maybe he's still "very upset" at not getting to see Bowie before he passed on although he apparently had not tried to get in touch with him for "a long time"...

Sometime ago, i read somewhere that Mick will appear at the David Bowie tribute on March 31.
Dont know if this was a rumour, or that it will happen.
does anybody know more about it??

Just read in the British music magazine UNCUT, that jagger was rumoured to be appearing at the Radio City Hall. Apparently he has no intention to do so anymore, as his representatives have not commenced anything.

Carnegie Hall show is tonight 3/31 and Radio City show is tomorrow 4/1.
I doubt Mick will be here for this, especially when they are ramping up for the Exhibitionism exhibit in London this weekend.
Roots have backed out, something about another group not wanting to share their instruments?
Holy Holy is the house band for these gigs.

Not certain, but I had read that (despite Visconti's involvement) , the concert had not been officially endorsed by the Bowie family.
