Not really. 8 songs from Some Girls were played in 1978 while 10 songs from Bridges To Babylon were played in 97/98.

They never played 8 B2B-songs in one show?

No, but they never played 10 SG songs in one tour either.[/quote]

They never played the entire B2B in one tour, either (AKA pointless discussion) smileys with beer

Might well be the UK version of Between the Buttons. Under My Thumb and Connection, of course, but what else?

Makes me wonder which album has the most songs played live? In know that in 78 they payed most of Some Girls. Anybody know the stats?
I feel like Sticky Fingers is way up there:

Brown Sugar - goes without saying...almost every show
Sway - once or twice on the Bigger Bang tour, a few times last summer
Wild Horses - many times
Can't You Hear Me Knocking - many times on the Licks tour, the 2012-13 tour and last summer
You Gotta Move - a few tours in the '70s and then last summer
Bitch - many times
I Got the Blues - No Security and last summer
Dead Flowers - many times
Moonlight Mile - No Security and last summer

But even aside from the above notes, it's the only album that has been played in its entirety.

"Sway" more than once or twice on the Bigger Bang Tour ..... (once in '05 / quite a few times in '06 / once or twice in '07) but only once last year. It was also performed in 2013.

"Can't You Hear Me Knocking" played in 2013 and 2015 plus once in 2016 but definitely not in 2012 or I don't think in 2014 either. It was played in 2007 as well.
I had forgotten how many times they played Sway in 2006...just looked it up on setlist.fm. For some reason I thought it was only a couple of times.

Regardless, it's one of their least effective live songs. It's impossible to match the tension and passion of the original. Mick just doesn't have that vocal anguish in him anymore...or if he does, he doesn't want to risk blowing out his voice to achieve it.

According to different sources (http://timeisonourside.com/SOSheSmiled.html [rocksoff.org]) She Smiled Sweetly was played at least once in 1967 and then, of course, in 2002.

I seem to recall that 8 songs from SG were typically played but all or most of them were played at some point in 78. BTMMR, I don't recall hearing about that one live. And Lies wasn't played a lot.

Interesting how the albums that weren't toured on are viewed and how they may be viewed differently if they did tour to support them.

Had they toured on TSMR what would they have played? She's a Rainbow? 2,000 Light Years from Home? 2,000 Man? In Another Land?

Same with EO. She's So Cold, Emotional Rescue, Dance pt. 1, Let me Go, Where the Boys Go? (Obviously only SSC and LMG made the 81/82 tour setlists).

Undercover-This one would have been interesting. UCOTN, She Was Hot, what else? Too Tough? All the Way Down? Wanna Hold You?

Dirty Work-One Hit and Harlem Shuffle. Not sure what else. Dirty Work perhaps. Too Rude maybe.

I'm pretty sure they would have played Citadel had they toured behind TSMR.

And Lies has never been played live since the last show of the 78 tour.

It should've been played in 1969, it would have gone well together with other sleazy, gloomy and narcotic arrangements of Under My Thumb, Stray Cat Blues and Sympathy For The Devil.

Keefriffman99,

You forgot about Sister Morphine which I personally witnessed on the B2B tour at Giants Stadium.

I would say Emotional Rescue, Undercover & Dirty Work have the least played songs...coincidentally...three albums that they never toured behind.

No, TSMR (2) and DW (2) have the least played songs. They have played three songs off ER and U.

Everybody knows they've played four songs off ER.

Forgot about All About You..

4 it is (and it was very close for the fifth song: Summer Romance, both on the SNL show and on the 81 tour).

Not everybody knows, though..: «I would say Emotional Rescue, Undercover & Dirty Work have the least played songs».

I don't think any song of the Some Girls Deluxe album has been played on stage.
Claudine
Do You Think I Really Care
When You're Gone
No Spare Parts
Don't Be a Stranger
We Had It All
Tallahassee Lassie
I Love You Too Much
Keep Up Blues
You Win Again
Petrol Blues

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

Only Keith has performed one of these songs on stage (We Had It All).

I'm sorry to mention it but Keith has a hell of a clunker in 'Too Rude' from DW...could that song be Stones answer to Beatles version of 'I Wanna Be Your man' which isn't exactly brilliant?

Is 'Too Rude' ever played live?
