No "Memory Motel" or "let's spend the night together" from the studio?
They're at least on the 'Stripped Companion' Bootleg: [www.filefactory.com] , [www.filefactory.com] .

Up to this point, I have kept my mouth shut for fear of being branded one of those "whiner" types-and don't get me wrong, I am happy that this stuff is being released from the vaults, but for what they charging for this set, they really can't include the missing tracks?? I mean this is so typically Stones like-just like with the release of the Sticky Fingers re-issue. Like, why are we only treated to half of the 1971 Roundhouse show which was arguably a more solid and spirited performance than Leeds show (although it was nice finally having Jumping Jack Flash and Live With Me in the Leeds set). I mean, why as fans are we continually teased and have to pay big bucks to acquire this stuff? Yes, I know I'm sounding ungrateful here, but like many who inhabit this site, I'm a long time fan who would like to have these shows COMPLETE and in great quality before I'm too senile and old to enjoy it.

Firstly, we should be thankful that The Stones are not just re-releasing what's already out on bootleg. I believe they perfectly well know that Stripped Companion are in many fans collections and that all the b-sides which were part of the Stripped singles are also already available on other collections. There is no need for all those tracks to be released again and again, unless it's for the sake of completeness. 5 songs from the Toshiba Sessions exists in pristine quality and 6 songs (Live With Me, Gimme Shelter, Tumbling Dice, It's All Over Now, Black Limousine and All Down The Line) are widely and readily available. How uncool would it be that they were just re-releasing those things on this collection? Stripped Companion are one of the band's most essential bootlegs. Even The Stones know that. Fans already own that thing. As for yet more outtakes from those sessions, well we don't know in what state they are in. They could be complete, but could just as well be lousy jam's. I often wonder why fans are always moaning for what they doesn't get, instead of being glad of what's being presented to them. 10 years ago, a set like this would be a fantasy. I guess it's hip to be a moaner. No matter how many things this band releases, there will always be fans moaning over it. It just irritates me. Be thankful for once. It will suit yer all.

FIRSTLY what the hell is Brussels, Hampton, LA, Hyde Park 69, etc? The main complaint about this collection is the audio CD and that should have started with Stripped Companion. It really irritates me that I go hunting down and spending the money on these Deluxe Japanese "incomplete bootlegs" to have you saying I should be thankful. Let's make one thing clear - This is a BRAND not a Band and I am the consumer. If I want to whine or b!t#h it's my right...go suit yourself.

I am pretty disappointed in the cd track listing. Aside from Jump On Top Of Me and Meet Me In The Bottom, they still could have included tracks like It's All Over Now, Monkey Man, I Can't Get Next To You, Connection etc. instead of the warhorses or alternate versions of songs that were already included on the original Stripped.

Thanks for the link! I ordered it there and free shipping to the Netherlands so it's a very nice price.
You do realise that the item for €44.99 on [m.bol.com] is the DVD version; not the Blu ray one that is €42.99 on amazon.de?Quote

I totally agree with you! It's a real drag to get these precious releases always stuffed with useless warhorses played over and over again without any emotion.
Another (partially) wasted chance...
Never satisfied? Sure!
"Whiner"? Damn right!
