The 6 disc Blu-ray/CD version on amazon japan doesn't include a t-shirt.

translates as "+ T-shirt (size L only)"

I can't find the version with the LPs!

with sssoul
corriecas

I just made an extrapolation basing on last year Marquee-Brussels deluxe limited edition (10000 Yen on pre order from CDJapan). My bank records gave me 85 Euros (DVD+3CD set + shipping) + 28 Euros IVA and customs = 113 Euros in total

Taking the fact this one (4DVD+2CD+T-shirt) is 17000 Yen before S&H and w/o tax one should expect total of about 200 Euros (+-20 Euros depending on country and shipping options). It would be hardly less than 170 euros even if you will be able to avoid IVA and customs.

Thanks Ironbelly, but i meant i will order the superdeluxe in europe, and not from japan.

This thread totally strips my intellect.
I am still trying to figure out
'Light The Fuse' and how to purchase that/ still available/
The official RS archive page looks like it's sold out.
But the songs that are hardly available live anywhere else
seems to be where the $gold$ is.
At least, that's what I hunt for- songs they rarely do live,
like 'Ain't To Proud To Beg' off 'Light The Fuse'
I've been known to purchase an entire 'block of Stones songs' to get the 1 or 2 rare live songs I want.
I think that it what others are saying here too.
And some of us (me) aren't savvy enough (and lazy to be taught) download/ flac/ no clue Sue.
My .02 cents.

I understand the point you're making.

On the other hand it's always not enough...

Wrong shows...songs missing...come on,what else?

Because a couple of damned songs are probably missing...pity.
But not a drama.

I'm glad they've pulled this package off the shelf for an official release.

The scan above is from amazon japan for 4DVD+2CD+T-shirt set. 17064 Yen is 'bare' price w/o shipment and custom taxes. At this moment 17064 Yen is 135 Euros or $150 or 107 GBP. Now add shipment (minimum 10 Euros to Europe), IVA (19-23% to total depending on country) additional custom charges (in my case - 8 Euros for custom processing) and you'll get total around 200 Euros.

Guess, corriecas is right. It is better to wait a bit and see what they will offer for the ROW. The price should be more reasonable. Sure, we'll miss 3 extra tracks from the 2nd CD and T-shirt (probably). But lets hope they will keep 3 concerts in the box.

I actually did the translation of the money wrong. Doesn't seem too bad but for that price you'd think you get some of this on vinyl.

It looks like we (rest of the world) gonna get this:

Formats:

*DVD (12 pages booklet)

*Blu-ray (12 pages booklet)

*DVD+CD (12 pages booklet)

*DVD+2LP

*12” Book holding 3 DVDs (60 pages)

*12” Book holding 3 SDBlu-ray + CD (60 pages)

So we get a hardcoverbook in stead of the box, like they did with the Sweet Summer Sun release.

The Stones archive-stuff is still available for Europeans. For americans (and some European countries) Google Music is the shop that sells these albums. Unfortunately, not anymore, for some reason...

However, my email isn't hidden..

The set with the LP's in it already sold out, I think there were 500 copies available, I wonder why there were so few offered?

A collecting thing for some of us, and a $$$ thing for most of the sellers who plan to do business with on Ebay or somewhere else.

I burned this myself and it is better than the cd they are including with the set.

The Rolling Stones - Stripped 2

All tracks are either officially released outtakes from the album or from bootlegs of the sessions and shows that were included on the original album. Any repeated tracks from the original Stripped album are alternate versions.

Gimme Shelter
It's All Over Now
Dead Flowers
Shine A Light
All Down The Line
Tumbling Dice
Live With Me
Black Limousine
Sweet Virginia
Meet Me In The Bottom
Monkey Man
Connection
Rip This Joint
Honest I Do
Let's Spend The Night Together
No Expectations
Beast Of Burden
Memory Motel
The Spider And The Fly
Let It Bleed

amazon japan has now lowered the price but increased the limit of the box sets from 5000 to 7500 (it used to be 1000 at first)

3.Olympia
4.Brixton

It is possible that the first 1000 was considered as the 1st pressing, 5000 (1001-5000) as the 2nd and 7500 (5001-7500) as the 3rd. Maybe now you will not get '1st pressing' sticker or OBI with slightly different print or something.

As far as I remember P33L and P25L CD series had different OBI for different pressings.

Some don't get it.
Many of the old fans and collectors are not that much into the Stones of now anymore - where every show and move is more or less the same.

But we go for releases like this one.
Been to some of the shows and waited for them for years.
But now it's like a missed chance again.I mean it's still a very nice release but it will be degraded because of the missing rarities. Those were the songs I was specially looking for.

thumbs up

And considering that it may be another 10 or even 20 years before they touch this material again things don't look good for the rarities that are missing now!

One could think there have been no releases in the last couple of years since "Rarities" ...

This is Amazon Japan's estimate for sending to Belgium (2 CD + 4 DVD + T-shirt Edition):

That's some 140 Euro.

This is a bit better.Although, in my case the price is just above 18000 due to different import tax.

The "missing rarities" maybe are not considered to be good enough for release. I remember Let´s Spend The Night Together (Stripped-Outtake) being the most boring version I´ve ever heard, they seem to be half asleep. I´d totally understand if they dont want to release stuff like that.

This is a wonderful package, not a missed chance.

We don't know what's on the extra 40 minutes of the expanded Stripped Tv special, there will be more songs in it for sure.

How opinions can differ - I think that this Let's Spend The Night Together-version is wonderfully laid-back and as such a perfect fit to the "Stripped"-theme.

Regardless, if they can release totally substandart live takes like Sympathy For The Devil on Shine A Light or the desastrous Rocks Off-edit on Live Licks, they can now release anything without even lowering the low standarts.
