Yes, the photos are great! The one with Charlie's incandescent smile will be a forever favorite. Looking forward to Cuba reports, and to Spring!

This was one of the more unusual shows I have seen...I thought the audience and band were both having a joyous time and perhaps the band felt happy and loose knowing they had conquered another region and the fans adored them..

I don't see anything missing either. It's beginning to bother me... I feel like I should notice something, but nothing seems missing or different.

Edit: I just looked at the reviews. Bv mentioned the stage being lower than usual. Maybe that's it?

Hey everyone first time posting but been following this site for ages. As you can tell by my screen name been a fan since I first heard Get Yer Ya-Yas out when I was 13 some forty plus years ago! BV your a beast 500 plus shows WOW! I thought I was a fan seeing every show in Detroit since '78 lol. Thank you for everything you do! Great site! I'm amazed at the insight, knowledge, connections,etc... Of so many on this site. But anyway to last nights show. On fire from start to finish. I think Keith's trouble at the beginning of Happy was all emotion! From Patti's birthday to end of this leg of tour to who knows what else. Pure emotion all night from all of them. Lots of fun and happiness last night. As for BV's pics bout what's missing, maybe they looked like kids again enjoying their first tour and love of playing! Anyway on to Cuba and beyond! Stones are the Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World!!

What's the name of the Spanish song Keith was playing at the start of Happy? Was it by Segovia? Or was it Malanguana, the song that Gus taught him? I probably spelled that wrong.

It's called Malaguena (with a tilde over the n). But I don't think that's what he was playing.
Maybe the Spanish-sounding bits were a reference to something with a special meaning for Patti?
The start of that Happy was a very intriguing moment indeed. "Finally got it!" :E I love you Keith

Oh and as for BV's photo mystery ... what I've come up with is that there's no final bow among his shots this time.
(It's almost there in one shot, but not quite.) As in: This is the end of a tour, but not the end.

That the mystery in the photos has to do with the final bow is cryptic, suspicious, and depressing.
Unless BV was swigging his beer/pepto bismol and missed it.
Or he's keeping it private for personal reasons, totally fine, but...
hey I was trying to stay positive mentioning Spring and all :-(

I’ve checked out all 3 of the photos BV posted upthread and only in shot #1 do I see something missing (but not really). It’s Mick! Because of the angle, it appears to be a pic of Ronnie, Charlie & Keith but I think “Ronnie’s” right arm actually belongs to Mick. The right arm is clad in Micks red satin shirt. That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it, As for the other 2 pics, I have no idea what may be “there but still not there”.

I hate good-byes too . But I have no logical reason to believe this is the end (after Cuba). There are lots of other very plausible theories, as some others have posted. Maybe bv thought it was really obvious. Or maybe he was trying to be a little bit mysterious. Not sure, but I don't like thinking about sad possibilities. I'd rather think about how awesome the Cuba show will be for everybody! . And how great it will be hearing and talking about it here
