I was in Plat 1 (Ronnie's side)on my feet dancing for the entire concert. Most of the people in that section were Mexican. I was with a friend from Mexico and he said the same thing, that wealthy Mexicans were only there for the "event" not for the Stones, and most didn't even know the songs. He was quite angry that they were there instead of actual fans. I was quite surprised at how tame the crowd was in that section. I know the band, and especially Mick, feed off the energy of the crowd. We did our part, hands in the air, dancing, singing. We were hoarse by the end. Great show for us. But the crowd was disappointing in our section. U.S. crowds are livelier, and I had expected more from Mexico fans. I'm sure the real fans were all back in the GA section.

It is an old old old very well known story. Why do people still act surprised about it?
It should come as no surprise to anyone about how this goes and how (some of) the rich people up front act... and if Mick is sad that (some of) the rich people up front don't.. aren't.... wont... yadda yadda yadda.... then Mick can remedy that very very easily, of course he wont make as much money, but it is very easy to remedy.
To remedy it would be as simple as... but they wont... and I don't blame them.
It is what is.
anyway... it seems like we were making more noise here on IORR last night than the jewelry rattlers were in the front row at the show, but of course we were, it was a gas gas gas!!! It really was. The live show regulars are a fun bunch and that periscope thing is the one of the best uses of the interwebtubes ever. I cant wait until this Thursday's show!

I love how they seem so focused to give the song it's best live rendition they can
..and succeed..in their seveties!! Unreal
Yes dear Rolling stones..your music is that good! just play those suckers with all you got...any other antics only takes away imho. Is it me or is Jagger starting to get that? (No more adlips and here we go's all the time) Tight and rocking! Same goes for Keith...just driving the song without bouncing around the rythm too much. they are playing together like I haven't heard in a long time. Add a focused Wood with an exciting solo and they are still the greatest live rock and roll band in the world..and it ain't even close.

The crowd around me at Foro Dol stood for the whole show, we were off the side and kind of far away but no one was in my way.Didn't even take a pee break, well the porto potties were too packed anyway. First saw them in '65 and this was the best i have ever seen them. Some of things I remember, Sasha's minidress, the beautiful rendition of You Got The Silver, CHARLIE all night long even especially when he told him,"Tempo Charlie", The Jag doing his thing, the crowd singing on Paint It Black, the crowd reaction to Keef's solo on It's Only Rock And Roll. Appreciate it, it isn't going to last forever. Wish I could be there Thursday.
