These are two regions/neighbourhoods inside or near London. Knightsbridge was a rather posh area. I gather Stepney wasn't. So, she used to be really someone moving with the in-crowd, but now she's just a nobody.

Hours are like diamonds don't let them waste.

We are gonna come around the square with some Puerto Rican
girls just dying to meet you.

Girls, will come and go, they are like streetcars.

I am hungry, can't see the reason, just ate a horse meat pie

Just a big bed and a telephone like the last remnants
of a stately home.

The car you drive a rusty wreck always you who pays the check.

From that Bar-room rocker 'Sad Sad Sad'

The elephants in the bedroom, throwing all his weight about,
but I’m locked in the bathroom,
your screams are gonna drown me out

Hm, quick brain storming:

"down the avenue, into the lost bayou, into the tall bamboo, back to the human zoo, I wish you all the best, I hope we meet again on a cold Chicago night"

"making love and breaking hearts, it is a game for you"

"in the bar you're getting drunk"

"will all your money buy you forgiveness?"

"where you are, I won't be, it's gonna be the death of me"

"well if you call this a life, why must I spend mine with you?"

"what will it take to bury me? I can't wait, can't wait to see"

"I will be your knight in shining armour, riding 'cross the desert on a fine arab charger!"

"it's just a kiss away, kiss away, kiss away, yeah"

"I bet your mama was a tent show queen and all her boyfriends were sweet sixteen"

"lose your dreams and you will loose your mind, ain't life unkind?"

"I got all my money, all my money, all my money, baby, and I bring it, I bring it all home!" (Air Canada Centre 2013)

"I guess I'm lying to myself, it's just you and no one else"

"I was making love last night, to a dancer friend of mine. I can't seem to stay in step, 'cause she come ev'ry time she pirouettes over me"

"now if you don't believe I would do it, just wait till you get hit by a bullet"

And the bar rooms and smelly bordello
And dressing rooms filled with parasites

In all honesty there are too many great ones to jot down.

I LOVE that line! However... I know it from an old Hollywood Flames tune (and a few covers). Did the Stones cover the song I'm thinking of? And I just forgot? Or Didn't realize they had covered it? Or did they "borrow" that line and put it in something else that I (obviously) can't place right now?

The original that I'm thinking of:

I have always loved the lyrics to "Feel on Baby" for some reason.
Other than that: "Tumnbling Dice: is wonderful. As is "Hand of fate", which really tells a story.
