I’m posting the info here in case it may be helpful for others viewing the replays.

Thanks so much for these very helpful notes! When I rewatched Fabricio's 'scope it skipped a LOT
to get to Brown Sugar - no Paint It Black, no Keith set, no Rambler, no Shelter. Is that just me?

If someone is interested in downloading the Periscope feeds - it's quite easy to download it with youtube-dl or Scopedown (Android, Chrome).
The Transport Stream file (.ts) is playable with the VLC-Player (see here for a video rotation).

Audio-only download is possible with youtube-dl, parameters '-x --audio-format best --audio-quality 0' (requires ffmpeg).

The Apple Mac has btw the Python interpreter for youtube-dl already built-in, maybe Linux too.

A very good YGTS, in my opinion. Keith has a great approach to the microphone and Ronnie is playing very solid.

Stream ruined by the taper because he's more interested in hearing himself talk than listening to the Stones. I can understand that you're excited but this guy keeps on talking in a casual way throughout the show and filming himself...
I doubt that if it will be possible to save any of the songs to use on a concert CD.

Interesting that Dean Goodman things the show was not as good.
Indeed they played more loose yesterday night, but I think this actually was what made the show more rock to us.
It's probably a question of taste - some people like it better if they play more focused and controlled, but I prefer the way of playing we got yesterday.
It was pure rock'n'roll to me. Not the 'vegas stones' like some of you call the period since '89.
But I guess we also can't assess it that well via periscope. Yesterday the sound of some of the feeds was really good. And if the sound is better it also might seem to us that they are playing better.

Considering all factors this is the best The Rolling Stones can be. I'll rephrase, this band does not rely on excuses and fights hard for every song to be credible. We here are brilliant because we've chosen the ultimate band for fanaticism. The present day Stones on any given night has the potential to march along side their younger selves. Bravo to all the musicians and crew.

Keith... not as bad as some other performances... he sticks to the same three note deal as usual.

Last nights show was great. The Stones were on it playing great.
There were a lot of great scopes to switch to and it was great listening to them.
Overall it great and they played Doom and Gloom again, which was great.

YOu hate to see bad reviews, but spometime it happens. ..I felt the audience was weak compared to Chile and Beunos aires and perhaps the band (sans Mick) sensed it. Was there even 50k in attendance????

'Sympathy' may have been lacking (as some of you say) Keith's solo,
but when I played the SFTD link back this morning on my run (thanks all for posting here/ convenient)
I couldn't help but grin. The audience excitement when it started/ the energy
Woo Hoo it was rocking electric :-)
What a blast.

I am just thinking how happy/lucky I am that my brain is not wired to be overly concerned about things like
"what song should they have played"
"is the stadium full" "how many tickets did they sell"
"how is this audience compared to somewhere else"
"how many people are there" "are the stands full"
"if I was an American Idol judge how would I rate this song"
"if was a reporter what new snarky things can I write about the band in my report after the show"....
yadda yadda yadda.
I simply could not care less about such things, I guess I am lucky.

I mainly care about finding/having a way for me to hear some great Stones songs played live by my favorite band and listening to it live. And when that happens all the rest of it meaningless, it is only about the music. And last night the music was great. period. plain and simple fun.

Brstonesfan:

You've probably asked ten times about the attendance, even after Cristiano posted a pic of the packed place.

Here's another pic from BV off Dean Goodman's review: [www.iorr.org]

BTW, Dean, it was Mick that made the mess in the beginning of IORR and PIB. Keith's intros on both were excellent and in time. I didn't hear the TD intro, as the periscope feed was down, so Keith might have been the culprit there.

I guess there were about 65-70.000 last night.
