How full was the stade tonight? It seemed to have some empty spots from the Periscope feed.

It looked 1/2 full in the videos..the floor was filled up, but upper decks looked sparse in areas. Maybe 50k although it was posted 70k above..I don't think they had that many.

Mick gave a 5-star, super-@#$%&, impressive performance tonight in Rio from beginning to end non-stop, like never before since this tour began. Maybe he realized his son Lucas was watching, so perhaps Mick decided to kick up a notch and in the process put 70,000 plus deliriously happy people in his pocket!!
Stones!!!! (cant wait til next Wednesday!!) Oh yeah!!

Flew down from Boston. Unlike Dean G., I don't have Argentina shows to compare this to- but I thought Rio last night was pretty friggin' epic! Starting with it POURING rain throughout the entire opening act (who were fantastic BTW). This was my 34th Stones show and it ranks right up there. They were LOUD. My ears are still ringing. Favorite moment? Ronnie's solo at the end of Rambler was just smokin'. Yes - there were a couple miscues during the show, but so what. And yes, I would have rather heard any of the other 3 song votes, but I just knew it was going to be LARS due to the sing along potential. Anyway - a great show, amazing crowd I think. Other than the technical problems that caused the (painful) 40 minute delay - I loved every minute of it. Ole Rio!
Pics and some good video on my Facebook.
