no scope, starting to have hives and break out in rashes, withdrawals...
Would that be in Saint Dennis or Custer Creek?............
closer to St Denis parish than to the battlefield, though it is close

do u know crow?
Wow, it's an old battlefield is it?
No, no, I was just intrigued, I mean where is a place called Crow Agency? So I looked on Google Earth...............
Battle of the Little Big Horn, 1876, though there is no Custer Creek. Crow Agency is the "capital" of the Crow Nation/Reservation.

So, that river is the Little big horn river then?
yes indeed, you got it!
and I work at Little Big Horn College.

By fluke, just saw Keith, Patti & Charlie leaving for the stadium -yayy!
why would they leave for the stadium five hours before show time? Do the sound checks really take that long or how long before show time do they do the sound check?

I think extended chanting + curfew = 1 song dropped from the setlist

Well... warhorses from now on. Great to be there!!! Goodnight.
Next saturday RIO periscoping again !!!
I'm sorry but I don't understand this they're only going to play the greatest rock & roll songs ever composed so I'm going to leave thing that some fans have. Again, I could listen to the warhorses all night every night. Those opening Keef strokes on JJF grab me every single time. The same for the others. I just love them so much.
i'm with you on this -- every time i listen to Midnight Rambler, i hear it like its the first time
I am not there. I am typing on my PC. No periscope connection. Makes a difference no?
You think I don't love THE ROLLING STONES...
I'm sorry if I implied that you don't love the Stones I was just commenting on the seeming lack of respect for some of their finest work. No offense intended.
I completely agree with you. I love the Stones but goddamn I am bored with Brown Sugar and others for the millionth time. While I don't buy into the whole "world's greatest rock and roll band" shtick, my question is....if they are the greatest, why don't they have the balls to dip into their vast catalogue of music? It's ridiculous and boring. And I know a lot of fans will be soooooo offended because they worship The Stones and buy the "world's greatest...." shtick, but come on, everyone has to agree that when it comes to variety in the sets, they aren't the greatest at all. But I understand why they do the same ol' thing every night, they're performing for the casual listener. It's just a shame. But there are many that are having the time of their life, and that's all that matters, I suppose.Quote

I don't think it's a lack of respect but more boredom.
The setlist tonight was comprised of 18 songs, 12 were warhorses. Two thirds of the setlist. Of the remaining six, three have consistently showed up over the past few years. That leaves Beast of Burden and You Got the Silver as novelties - but they've popped up every half dozen or so shows. As for You Got Me Rocking, it seems only Mick is in love with it.
The warhorses are masterpieces. But there are many more masterpieces in their catalog that we rarely hear, some never. Quite a few of those are as recognizable to the casual fan as Brown Sugar.
Knocking out three of the warhorses and rotating them in and out and adding three lesser played songs would freshen up the setlist. Even for the person who has only seen the Stones twice over the past 30 years.
I love Jumping Jack Flash, but I've heard it live 70 times! I'll sacrifice it one night for Play With Fire, Under My Thumb, Rip this Joint, Sway, Worried About You, No Expectations, etc...

I liked Keith's palm tree jacket ... especially the front of it. Plus, it's a reminder for Keith not to climb any trees. lol. What I don't understand is why I didn't hear anyone anywhere say anything about that awful flowered jacket Mick wore at the last concert.
