It does not validate me. I love all the new stuff I heard and can't wait to see them and don't give a rat's arse whether the rest of the general public feels that way and by the way negative wads the tour is selling very well. Anyone who cares about whether the tour or album sells well is an idiot who needs a life.

I think it would be fun if the Rolling Stones get a number one hit. Since I'm a teenager I am quite alone in my fanship of the Rolling Stones, so maybe my friends will like them as well then.

Don't care because it doesn't matter.

That's right, it does not matter. I have been a "fan" for 4o+ years. Start to finish, when ever that might be. I enjoy them for my own reasons. But I always thought some of thier appeal was that not everyone else liked them. That you had to be a bit different to really get what they were doing. And one thing for sure. The Stones have never done anything to be liked by anyone. They play what they want to play,"good or bad" as is is recieved and thats it. If they cared what the critics, professional or otherwise had to say, they might have quit long ago. Like many other bands. And we would have all (those of us who still enjoy the band) missed some great music.I predict they rise to the occasion, the stage show is like no other, and as always they have their moments of pure magic. The band rocks and at the end of the tour they leave as they came in. On top.

And by the way, the tickets are selling just fine. For all you "Grassy Knoll" people out there.Unless of course you think ALL papers, news organizatios and enterainment publications are in on the "Lie".The numbers will be available at the end of the tour. Then either Myself, or those who have made a living quoting "thier sources" will be wrong. How many tickets did John Lee Hooker,Howlin Wolf,Muddy Waters, Fury Lewis,Little Walter, on and on, sell at the end of thier gigs. Did they play to 35,000 folks every night? Did the fact that they didn"t, make them any less relevent to thier craft. Of playing music, to enjoy, maybe even feel good about, for a brief moment in an otherwise tough, negative world? I think not. Its time to rock folKs. And that's just what I'm going to do. Even if I am the only one in the joint. Which it does not look to be the case. Although you never know.
