I have that Candlestick Park poster, the op art one, hanging in my studio. Bought it at the show and managed to get it home in one piece. Kinda faded after all these years being hung on the wall with non-UV resist glass.

a total insult to the SF fans, in the Giants' home stadium no less.

I didn't care though, don't much follow that pro sports nonsense. But I knew people who talked about that for weeks afterwards.

from Frisco!! I bought it in Italy on a
holiday in 1983 - when I was 15.

Many thanks exilestones. That particular picture of KR with his arms stretched out is the most eh...macho? homoerotic? 'Italian'? depiction of the man I have ever seen. Or is it his version of the Fonz greeting?

Rockman, when I was young we was so poor we used the Fillmore posters for walls since we didn't have any walls to hang them on

It's similar to a Fonzie move or Vinnie Barbarino but it's more playful. It's pure Keith. Keith wrote that move!

It's San Francisco too! The first show.

This famous pic below also came from the October 17, 1981 San Francisco show.

The medium blue sash (belt) I think was used twice; San Francisco and Orlando
both were outdoor shows.

I always think Bill Wyman is the one with the best fashion sense. No goofy pants, no torn shirts, just dressed very nicely in vibrant colors. He and Charlie are the best looking of the bunch, a veritable pair of fashion plates.

facial expressions, sweat of a hard working man...
I love it!

They were very lucky it wasn't cold and foggy out there at Candlestick. That was the normal weather out there no matter that 60 miles away it was 100f. Both days were sunny and mild, perfect weather.

Oh and the poster depicts the Transamerica Pyramid in downtown SF, a post-modern landmark.
