It was an apartment building (around the corner from
John & Yoko's apartment in the "Dakota" building),
where Mick lived from around 1980 to 1983.

I've nailed down the three shots you sent me of Mick. The two where Mick
is wearing sunglasses were taken on October 14, 1982, at JFK Airport.
As I reported in (fanzine) Beggars Banquet at the time, Mick was returning to
New York from Los Angeles (where he was editing the "Let's Spend The Night
Together" film with Hal Hashby).
