Very doubtfull setlist rumors :-)
Posted by: MichaelLassen ()

Let's have some fun and collect some of the more doubtful rumors around the South American set lists! :-)

Mick met Paul Simon who shared his success on playing "You can call me AL" twice in a show. So Miss You is rehearsed extra for that purpose.

Winning Ugly is rehearsed only for the Uruguay show, as a nod to their national football team.

Some Girls is being rehearsed with Mick writing new lyrics about girls from each country on the tour, word is he is consulting lawyers on the prososed lyrics for the Brasilian girls in case Ludinca Morad would bring a law suit.

Anyone else heard anything?

I have heard rumours that The Rolling Stones are going to concentrate on their greatest hits during the tour.

"She Was Hot" - Mick after the Tour about Sasha Allen .... winking smiley

I heard that when they performed Winning Ugly on the DIRTY WORK tour they somehow - amazingly - managed to make it even worse than it is on that pathetic excuse for an album and swore to never do it again.

This is not a rumor, but my prediction is that they'll start the tour with "She was hot" in the 4-5th slot, and andeed as a play from Mick to Sasha, only to midway through the tour be replaced by "She's so cold" :-)

Dear Michael, winning is all that matters. You can do it playing beautiful or not.
Winning Ugly in Montevideo could be a great surprise spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I'm hoping they replace the YCAGWYW sing along with Sing This Song All Together!

I have on good authority that they are going to open the shows with Just Another Night.

The odds of the Stones playing Hot Stuff in Chile have narrowed to 9-1.

Little Indian Girl will be played on a B-stage at Bogota.
Mick will have himself surrounded by 10.000 orphans from SOS Childrens Village, holding
candles.

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

With that much crap in a set list, leaving Streets Of Love out is criminal.

I believe this is a very good, even brilliant setlist. Their setlists got a bit boring over the last years. This would be a fresh breeze of air and a long overdue DW-appreciation.
This set rocks and steams like hell and the crowds would love it from start to finish. Use your imagination and you will see what a fabulous treat this would be.

You keep on believing it's "very good, even brilliant", while I know it sucks. The only breeze would be the one from people fleeing the venue because of the horrible songs being played. I will not let my imagination be damaged from such horrible music - and I like the UNDERCOVER tunes but live they suck.

You are right, any setlist sucks without Doom And Gloom and Don´t Stop. How could I forget these gems. But with these undispensable additions the setlist is too long, so I withdraw 2000 Lightyears From Home.

Please listen to the Shine-A-Light-versions of She Was Hot and Undercover, both are great renditions.

Mannnnnnnnn, I would die to see 2000 Light Years From Home on the official setlist.

They have been to Brazil in Feb 18th 2006, 10 years ago, so I'm pretty much sure they'll play their most famous hits throughout South America. Most places they'll play for the first or second time.
