I should have known w/ Mixed Emotions (& Honers).

Don't get me started on tribute bands.

One one of the reasons I love the Stones is that they not only write great songs but play a variety of genres from Country, Blues to Reggae and Rock. I would not want to be handcuffed to playing songs from one group.

What if I want to play a Johnny Cash, Neil Young or Dylan song? You can only play Like a Rolling Stone?!

I would like to ask the tribute band why they chose Mixed Emotions!

I've seen two Stones tribute bands, and the problem in both cases was that no one can play quite like Charlie. Without that element, it just sounds like bad bar rock.

Playing drums myself I can confirm this. I find it way more easy to play a complex sounding John Bonham style of drums than play a beat sounding that simple like Charlie, but yet with so much feel and groove.
