Re: No Phoenix recording available???

Once downloaded three of the bastards- and viewing them, I came to wonder why I´m doing this. Its really unviewable, pic-/sound or video-/audio-quality-wise.

But... It´s worth seeing... Cause the Stones are at a peak at such a height rarely seen before... As I got it, it can only be compared to the earliest years as a international act ([1964-]1965) plus the peak years of 1972-73, 1977-78, and 1981.
They have a new style, more floent, floating, more weaving & a hell of a lot more rocking...
Very promising indeed.

Gotta work now.

I find it unbelievable you can judge that by a few short clips with really bad sound. I didnt hear any weaving, because the sound wasn't clear and also because there weren't any real weaving parts recorded available yet. To say that they play more fluent is of course up to you, but as a musician I feel it is just not true.

They look good, they take chances, but what I really want to hear is Ronnie's solo's and long instrumental parts which are unfortunately not available yet.

So many people here puttin down the new tracks without hearing them,
I may as well do the opposite.

The quality at RapidShare is pure sh*te; but enough
(there are a lot of other tapings circulating, I´m not intend
to link everyf*cking one, cause I work at the moment).
The quality at Rockpassion as werll as at rs.com is nothin to complain about.

There might be a possibility I have heard quite a good share of the new tracks as well. At rs.com the clips were available a long time ago,.

I told you good people already in May and before this was goin to be a smasher
and a new spring, a rennaissance for the Stones and Stones´ fans. Was I right or was I right?

Give it time, G. Even in times of internet, there are always people who don't want to give a treasured item like this out immediately after the event, some simply for the reason they don't want others to make some big bucks out of it.

I've taped hundreds of shows, don't have time to transfer/release everything. I wouldn't be suprised if it was taped by someone who either doesn't know about the whole bit torrent thing or just doesn't care.

Well, it's Baboon Bro. He's almost always over the top concerning everything Stones, one gets the impression that he pisses in his pants all the time just out of sheer enthusiasm. He may hear two notes played by the Stones and claim that's the best they've ever done in their whole career. Do not take him too serious.
