I got "SHELTER" as a code for down loading the Stones App to a different phone, I was pulling $750 seats in various locations all morning.

Seen the boys twice in Vegas, always fun. . . .

These ticket prices are causing me stomach pains. I really want to see them this year but the tix plus airfare from Asia and hotels....for one show?? I just can't do it. If anyone wants to donate a ticket, email me!! Ha! Anyway, to all who got tix and can do it, I'll be with you in spirit.

Is 750 bucks THAT expensive in LV? Certainly not for some folks here.

It's true. Veteran Stones concertgoers, I'm included, have broken into two camps, those that feel the Stones have 'jumped the shark' a few years back, and those that have the money to blow on seeing the same old same old over and over.

Better add a third camp to your theory as some are neither of those two. A lot of us fall into the Rolling Stones are still the greatest live band in the world, and we'll still go to great lengths (and expense) to see them. No real "money to blow", just priorities, several decades to put a bit aside, and the fact that there are typically still affordable tix offered..

I don't see how these prices could be defended as "typically still affordable...".

When I saw the Stones for the first time in 97 on BTB tour the tickets were 2X the price I paid to see Pink Floyd 3 years before. A friend said at the time " you will never pay more for a ticket than a Stones show but you won't feel cheated out of your money." As I left the show that warm October evening in 1997 I truly understood what she meant.

That doesn't hold true today on these ticket prices. After seeing practically the same set list 6 times in the last 3 years the later may not be true either...

Thanks,

Mike

There were/are tickets to get into the building starting at $75, in addition to strongly rumored Lucky Dip tickets similar to the last North American Arena tour.

I went to five Zip Code shows and never paid north of $200 enjoyed every one from the "floor".

So yeah.
Still affordable if you don't need guaranteed premium seating.

Lucky dips today!

LAS VEGAS LUCKY DIP TICKETS

As a part of the general onsale, a limited number of tickets will be sold at $39.50 plus service charges. All Lucky Dip tickets will be sold as a pair. The ticket locations will be throughout the venue, including Side View Upper Level, and Floor. You and your guest will find out your seat locations when you pick them up the night of the show. Only one pair of tickets is allowed per person.

We will be using strict anti-scalper measures to ensure that these tickets go to Stones fans and don’t end up on the resale market with wildly inflated prices. We appreciate your attention to the following, so that you have the best experience possible:

· You must pick up your tickets in person, along with your guest. Once you have the tickets in hand, you will be escorted into the venue. There will not be an opportunity to leave with your tickets before going into the show.

· Picture ID, your confirmation number, and the credit card used to make the purchase are required for pick-up. Without these things, you will not be able to pick up your tickets.

· If we suspect any reselling or transfer of these tickets they will be immediately voided and you will not be entitled to any refund.

The band have also opened Exhibitionism, delivered by DHL, the world’s largest ever touring exhibition, and the world’s first immersive exhibition on the Rolling Stones.

Find out more about Exhibitionism here, and get tickets here.

Nice that they are still doing Lucky Dip;
That's the way I did all my 2013 shows.
That you can get in the door for $39.50 in an arena is an incredible deal for the Stones.

I just joined the waiting room for the general on sale - the instant it opened. I was presented with only two available price categories (750, 350) in 3 sections. That's it! No lucky dips to be seen either.

In 2013, there was a separate tab on the rollingstones.com ticket page for Lucky Dips. That was the only way to get them. Assuming they do it the same way, that tab will probably go live at 10:00 PT.

Yes that's the way I remember it.
This being Vegas, I'll roll the dice on Lucky Dips and see what happens.
I'm also in waiting room on AXS and I see $750, $450, and $350's - not going for any of those.
Will refresh RS.com at 10:00, and hope to get 'lucky'. If not oh well...

I went ahead and tried for Lucky Dip since that's about the high end of what I would pay. Struck out. At least I don't have to worry about how I would get there, where I would stay and who I would ask.

Would have been the anniversary of my first and second Stones shows.
