FWIW, the only passes sold for Coachella and Stagecoach are 3-day passes. I believe they both did away with single-day passes long ago. But that is not to say things will not be different for this event.

And yes, Neil Young + Stones would be so much better.

And, over at Steve Hoffman, someone said there will be more acts. It will be an all-day thing.

This is big enough it could be a 5-6 day/night event.

It will interesting to see which act follows, which one goes on first?

Not that there are any egos involved or anything.

Randy Lewis, who first reported the story in the Los Angeles Times, says otherwise in a followup piece:

"The participants also won't be competing for concertgoers' attention with 30 or 40 other bands that characteristically fill the lineups at daylong festival marathons. All performances would begin after sundown."

Probably not before July, early August

With Coachella pretty much confirmed I would think they would announce tour dates sooner than their recent customary timeframes.

and if indeed Sacramento, I will sleep on the new stadiums doorstep until admitted.

any other rumour of NA tour 16'? what about NYC, L.A.,Miami, etc.? i don't think they do only one a gig (Coachela).

What is everyone else doing while waiting around for the Stones to tour? I am seeing Bruce a few times, Billy Joel, McCartney as well as the Phillies

Robin Trower, twice next weekend. McCartney in August... and Sri Lanka for a month. That'll tide me over till they roll through Michigan again.

Does anybody heard something ,about Stones tour in Europe ,in the autumn ?
in Serbia, in last couple of days , two different newspapers, maybe sharing same source, i don't know, maybe some rumour from the internet,or what ever,
writing about Stones concert in Belgrade in October ,same venue as 2007.
This is high unlikely, first because the Stones reduced their shows to 15-16, and it is utopia to expect to Stones choose Belgrade, among all other cities in Europe and second, we all know autumn weather is not good for open air concerts.

anyway, i just wanted to share these stories in newspapers here in Serbia in last 2-3 days

Belgrade in autumn sound unlikely. The Mega Concert is going to be early October and BV has said to keep your dates open in Autumn here in the States (hoping West Coast heavy). Adding Belgrade to that just does not make sense.

A done deal then?

It would be great if they did another European tour in the summer 2017.
